Just catching up - sorry I havent been around, I have been intensely busy..still in the process of tidying up ready for a nice man to visit me on Friday afternoon to spend 2hrs showing me how my new bloggy thing works. Was out all day yesterday - first it was a breakfast meet and I had been given a job that I don't normally do and the gestapo-types were there from HQ so I got told off for not knowing what the job was and not doing it properly:mad:, that was followed by a pretty intense meeting with the gestapo types, these nincompoops announced that they were going to set up a new breakfast meeting in Bromsgrove so I said that we should re-brand our group to incorporate Bromsgrove as it is 10 mins drive from our current location and were they aware that the building in which we were sitting actually pays its rates to Bromsgrove District Council (how I love taking the wind out of nincompoops' sails). That was followed by a lunch meeting with someone I met last week trying to sell me utilities only I wasnt having any of it so we are friends instead. Then I was invited to Dudley & District Business Club (a friend drove) and I had a 2 course dinner with coffee & mints for £10 - I paid £25 for annual membership today and I think that dinner will then cost me £15 - but there are some nice business peeps there and I have been put in contact with a woman who sells weddingy things but doesnt have a planner working for her (nor does she have any planners advertising in her posh magazine).

Was at eye hospital today - fabby news, still no sign of uveitis (need to keep with the steroid drops once a day to both eyes), the pressures are stable and I don't need to go back for 3 months.:j

Things are picking up for me too - at long flippin' last:D

As for chaps widdling in the garden - remember to get them to widdle on your compost heap as it does wonders for the compost.

I now have a vision of Numpty sitting on a stool (like a garden gnome) armed with some ballbearings, stones or other hard round objects and his catapault aiming for rattus rattus:rotfl:

    Enjoy the totty.

Really pleased to hear your news Horace - what a busy bee youa re....but especially fab about the uveitis...or lack of :T

"Sir" is a tad upset about the garden gnome reference...but I'm sure Beechie (and fish n chips) will help him get over it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

As for proper aiming at the compost bin...well the boys got their instructions at Easter (have visions of being woken up late at night this week by a certain NUmpty outside practising his aim :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)

Hugs Hun...really pleased to hear things are on the up for you :T:T

oh and i'm also one who sings along in the car, wouldn't dare inflict my singing on any one else, though i have to admit OH has heard me recently in the house.

No problem, Wol - like anything else about humans, it just takes time :kisses3:

I thought you might be busy over the weekend - I'm not free to relaxez till Wednesday 3.30 or so during the week, and even that is down here, not up with you. Never mind ... lets at least plan in a meet at that nice garden centre at some stage......

Hope you're busy and productive and not too shattered, both of you xxx

Think we may have to re-think the improvised chemical toilet for the boys owing to certain Health & Safety issues that became apparent today..:o...I.lifted the compost bin lid and found a huge (well actually it was a young adult) rat staring at me ...which promptly disappeared into the depths._pale_ Slammed on the lid and got a long stick, beat the side of the bin hoping to get the rat to "vacate" through whatever hole it gained entrance (obviously so i could then identify said hole and plug it with rat bait).....It promptly shot out directly towards Numpty's trouser leg ......- never seen Numpty move so fast :rotfl::rotfl:.....guess it'll be a case of "pee at your peril" :rotfl::rotfl:

 mind you, I find I quite commonly see them around supermarket car parks these days.....

Is it the piggy waste thats attracting them? Are you putting meat waste into the compost? There again, you're by a stream, close to open countryside .... there might not be much you can do, tbh :eek::eek::grouphug::grouphug::grouphug:

Numpty's there, they're probably having long work periods and long confabs and long piggy sessions.
