Thats like me - part of the problem is here and the problem knows where i live so I have no where else to go - except to my family who are 500 miles away, but are coincidently - THE OTHER HALF OF THE PROBLEM!!!!!
Next time you want to run away, come here. Its great for the kids and pretty views....in a village with 15 pubs! Then when someone comes to the door, you can answer it and send them away!!!! :rotfl: Tell them there has been a mistake and you have lived here for years.
I'm sure we can set up a system... flylady dominoes where everyone moves on to the next person ...
I've achieved very little today... and have realised that I have to go to the gym at the crack of dawn tomorrow. I MUST get some of this stuff sorted over the weekend, so I don't have paperwork to deal with next week!0 -
Evening everyone. Just the dailies done today. Went to see mum this morning. I can see she is getting quite frail now. Though still cheerful and enjoying her pampering and smokes. Then went to have lunch with a friend. Later met DD and spent quite a bit of time with her. We went shopping and enjoyed the time together. I will do a quick tidy before I go to bed. Just chilling tonight as Im shattered. Was woken at 1.30 am by next door.
Soappie Hope you enjoy the air show. I love planes but have never been to a air show.
rach Positive healing vibes coming your way.
Natty Big hugs for you and lodger cat.
greenbee. Think Ive missed a bit of whats happening but it sounds interesting.
Mudbath. Poor Stripes hope he is ok soon.0 -
Pigpen have you really got 2 wm and 2td ? How much wash powder do you get through in a week? Is that the reason you put your washing out at night cos you have so much of it all? There are 4 of us, 1 in washable nappies and I do prob 2 loads a day and I thought that was a lot. Obviously I'm just a novice!
oh indeed I have.. if I didn't I'd forever have a Mount Washmore!! Until recently there were 10 of us here.. now there are 9.. DS1 got his own nest!
I have a bedwetter (aged almost 9) and several grotty littlies that seems to go throgh 2-3 sets of clothes plus pj's every day.. then the teenage girls who HAVE to shower and wash their hair at least once a day! plus bedding .. with DD3 that can mean washing duvets at least every other day.. sometimes daily.
I hang it out at night so I don't have to get up early to hang it out.. and it is dry by about 9/10 am if it is a nice night/morning I can then fold it and put it away and hang out the next 2 loads!
Wash powder I use a large box of tesco value powder a month.. I use 1/3rd of a cup in each wash.. and I use maybe 2x 2L bottles of fabric conditioner a month.. not a huge amount really.
I have 2 of most things at the moment lol.. toasters, irons, kettles etc... insaneness!!
I am thinking of clearing a space in the shed and running a cable to it and having a third freezer out there.. bulk buy shopping is THE way to go!! My BIL is a butcher and would happily butcher me a whole beast if asked nicely.. and at discount prices.. plus it would keep a certain madam out of it all and she'd not scoff everything nice we buy.

Is it bad not to replace uniform for the start of term? Boys need new shoes (just for DS2 now as got DS1s) and socks but the rest of the uniforms is ok it's used but it's still usable....I can't see the point of replacing it all.
Pigpen we might be doing Flamingo next week but only because I have tesco vouchers and DP is printing a 3 for 2 off here http://www.galaxyyorkshire.co.uk/las-vegas-with-flamingo-land-5776
boddy when is it you retire? Airshow could be something for the 'to do when I retire'
Oh Mudbath that doesn't sound good, hope Stripes is better soon
Kim & Aggie that was horrible!!! Watching benefit busters, how did they let someone on benefits get £75k in debt, there should be some sort of responsibility for the people lending the money. That woman from A4E or whatever is called, how obnoxious is she? Yes ok no frills, tough love, this issue needs addressing but !!!!!! give humans the job of doing it.
Tad annoyed, DPs brother has again dropped him in it, he was supposed to be helping shift stuff tomorrow with his car/trailer. Not the first time in the last few months, winds me up as he expects everything to be dropped for him when he needs something. Looks like it's DP and I moving it all next weekend.
NOTE TO SELF : BOOK VAN HIRE TOMORROW!One day I might be more organised...........

Lil-me i'm not buying all new uniform for Ds1, all i need to buy are shoes and a couple of pairs of trousers everything else still fits and is in good condition. It cost over £100 for it all last September so it must be good quality to have lasted a year with my Ds. I just hope he doesn't have a massive growth spurt now.:rolleyes:0
