ETA - ((((hugs)))) Natty. You've been really good to your lodgercat. Think how much worse it would have been if he'd been with your friend. He wouldn't have had the TLC he's had from you. I'm sure the vet will advise you as to whether it's worth persevering with the treatment or whether to let nature take its course and see whether he recovers naturally. Whatever happens, I'm sure you'll make sure that he is as happy and comfortable as he could possibily be.

Half of paperwork ready to hand in tomorrow... sun is starting to try to emerge from behind the clouds.

Suppose I should tidy the kitchen, then I might feel a bit more motivated to get the paperwork done.

And I've just realised that I'll have to look for places to hide my redundancy money from myself  Otherwise I'll spend it all on new shoes for the new job :D I had a chat with them today, booking the dates for my training in the states - it's going to be a real culture shock (I have found my passport though... I wasn't entirely sure that it would be in date!)... international flights, decent hotels (they said 'nothing special' but it's a hell of a lot classier than what I'm used to for work!), TOIL for travel... and to think I was worried about not getting the wine delivery anymore

And here i am bawling at the telly. Aw Natty, poor lodgercat. Hope all goes well, whatever happens to him. It looks like our female kitten is actually a male. The cat is now nearly 5 months old and today I noticed what looks like little bobbins!!! Gonna get the vet to check IT(!!) when i take the cat for vaccination 2 and chipping next week!

Just tip it up and look .. it is obvious.. the boy ones if you press slightly around the edge the willy pops out... the girl ones have a slit about half a cm running towards the tail.. if it is coming into season and is a girl there will be swelling of the vulva so it might look like testes when in fact it just means if you don't get her spayed PDQ you'll be having kittens!

    DD1 sent to shop

2 more loads of washing in, hung out and brought in to fold.. I still have about 2 million loads to trawl through.. I want my kitchen floor mopping.

I have another hospital appointment for Tuesday next week.. just to another checking over... I am so bogged off with this now!

Now that is what I call being sent on a training course :T:T

It's not even a course... just a week with a colleague to explain how to do the job (oh yes, and to meet my boss, who'll be staying in the same hotel as me...). Any clues as to how to avoid jet lag?! Good news is that the hotel appears to have a 24 hour gym and a pool open 5am to 10pm, so if I can't sleep I can at least exercise!

I really must move from in front of this screen...
