  • sorryfolks, I didn't get on too well with the list as I have a routine of my own - but I will still follow the forum for ideas and inspiration. I washed my conservatory floor yesterday and today am attacking the ironing, tomorrow it's the allotment's turn for a major weed and tidy. Well done everyone else though for keeping to your list and getting stuck in. Have found delegation rewarding - husband is cleaning patio, DS mowing grass, both sons to do own bedrooms - ha ha. Am also tending two friends gardens during holidays so not much spare time.

    Evening all

Only 2 more sleeps til my hols :D Just spoken to Dad, they took Miss A and W to a Dr Who thing today but apparently they were both scared! Had a good time all the same, they are out playing just now so I didn't speak directly to them.

Have watered the plants and had dinner, will be off ringing soon as I am in charge tonight

Just going to have a quick sort in W's room before I go and I need to drop off recycling on the way down.

Hello everyone :) hope you are all ok

Having a shop round for house insurance today, stunned how much they can be different, so far Direct Line the cheapest at just under £70.... Kwik Fit was supposed to be about that until I clicked through from the comparison site then it doubled. Quotes are going anything up to £400 for exactly the same cover, it's just mad! I have got the Sky tv sorted, booked hopefully for just before we move in. Broadband sorted, but looks like it will be a couple of weeks after we move in, boo, but got mobile BB until then if it works. Trying to remember what else was on my list to sort, I can't remember, might have to redo list which was on paper and I left it at home.

Caravan was clean/tidy then the boys woke up...will reclaim it again after tea. Think I will do chicken and rice for tea, haven't meal planned which is naughty of me. DPs built the main part of the TV unit before work, he said it wasn't difficult but is amazed how long it's took. He sent me a photo, which was also my first small look at what the LR looks like with the carpets in. Dog is being odd and won't get out of the car again, boot is open and he's sat in there, he's been naughty too running off which he doesn't usually do, missing Daddy maybe.

Right best cook something for tea, at least we had a late lunch.
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb

I'm so sad I have nowhere to go if I did run away.. I tried several months ago ended up walking the streets for hours with nowhere to go.. :( .. if it ever comes to that again I'm hopping on a train and coming to bug on of you lot.. lol...

Dinner done.. laundry folded and put away :D ..

    DW to be reloaded
cats and kittens need to be fed
small pinks need desperately to be bathed
    WM's both need emptying
lines need emptying so more folding
Oh.. the TD is full too so I'll have to deal with that.

I thought of something else I need to buy school uniform related.. DD1 needs new shirts so DD2 can have her old ones.. I am NOT buying more the same size I am much too tight so I may be tootling off into town with the 2 of them at the weekend and sorting them out.. oh.. poop.. DS2 needs new school jumpers too.. they are extortionate.. about £30 each.. and next year his uniform changes to the totally OTT daylight robbery one!

Eek... DD5 bawling..off to drown them.. back soon with a list for tomorrow!
