Morning All

DS woke up at 5.40 even though he had a late night so didn't go to bed until 9pm. I have plans to go blackberry-picking this morning and then make apple and blackberry crumbles. I've also got an appointment with the nurse at 2pm and we are going to my parents' for tea so shall go there about 4. I could make a start on DS's bedroom or I could just carry on with downstairs.

First off though I'm going to wash my dishes as I didn't end up doing them last night.

Hello, can I have another 2 stars please, I have completed 4 days lists this week now (one from yesterday has been missed, thanks x)

Thrilling Thursday ~ Master bedroom
Level One
Strip and wash bedding.. remake bed as soon as sheets are dry. not at bedtime!
Level Two
Vacuum the floor now you can see it!
Level Three
Wash the curtains/nets
Dust and deweb.. don't forget the light fitting and bed frame!!

Extras

1. Wash the windows if necessary
2. HHI
3. Catch up on phone calls!!
4. Binbag dance!
5. Wipe the back door.. inside and out
6. Clean light fittings/lamps

Friday Flyby! ~ Neglected rooms!

oh, by some strange coincidence my own little routine has dovetailed with thrilling thursday!! how encouraging - beds were done, paintwork dabbed at - looks lovely and clean this morning. Today it is big ironing pile, curtains wash(that was on the flylady list wasn't it) and then allotment (weed, water, take some veggies round to my loyal old friend who is a cleaner by profession and fantabulous at it, always got advice, makes her own cleaning things, house smells like a perfume factory, carpets always wet from a wash!).
Packing for Alton Towers weekend - can't wait to get there...
on school uniform, bought all new shirts but boys hate new clothes and insist on old trousers and shoes so I will be slipping them in gradually over next 6 weeks - easier to budget that way. DS age 14 is starting motor mechanics course and had to have steel capped boots and boiler suit - luckily got friend in motor trade who got them at staff prices but still £52 for the boots.

Magnificent Monday ~ Living room, Hall, Stairs and Porch! ALL DONE
Extras

1. Wash any windows in need
2. Clean the mantle.. polish and put back only what is meant to be there.
3. Wipe skirtings and dados and door frames!

Tuesday Twinkles ~ Kitchen and dining area ALL DONE
Level One - done :j
Level Two - done :j
[STRIKE]Scrub the sink clean and polish up those taps.. attack with a toothbrush to remove those grotty bits
Clear and clean window sills
Wipe the table, replace cloth if needed
[/STRIKE]Level Three - done :j
[STRIKE]Wipe units, kickboards and appliances
Clean the oven and hob
degunge the fridge[/STRIKE]

Extras

1. [STRIKE]Wipe the back door.. inside and out
   
2. [/STRIKE]Clean a small appliance.. defuzz the kettle, decrumb the toaster etc
3. Scrub out the grill pan
4. Clean light fittings/lamps

Wednesday Wobblies ~ Bathroom, Landing and Loo!
Level One - done :j
[STRIKE]Declutter the floors.. mop or vacuum as appropriate
Empty and wash out the bins!
[/STRIKE]Level Two
[STRIKE]Wash any shower curtains, bathmats etc that need it[/STRIKE]
clean the bath/loo/basins/showers etc .. polish up those taps so they shine!
Scrub down the tiles
Level Three
Wipe over any paintwork, including the doors!
Clean any light fittings
[STRIKE]Empty and tidy the towel cupboard, restock loo roll holder if necessary[/STRIKE]

Extras

1. Wash the radiator and windows.. polish the mirrors
2. Sort through a box of junk, or a drawer or cupboard in one of these areas!
3. [STRIKE]Spend half an hour doing something for yourself!! Because you're worth it!! - friends for supper this evening :j[/STRIKE]

[/STRIKE]Dust and deweb.. don't forget the light fitting and bed frame!!
Tidy the bedside cabinets.. get rid of all the empty packets and used tissues..:p

Sort through a box of toys or 'stuff' and get rid of the junk and rubbish!
Sort through a cupboard of clothes and get rid of the stuff tat no longer fits and make it all tidy
Extras

1. Straighten up the bookshelves
2. Wash the windows if needed
3. Scrub down the sticky paintwork
4. Tidy up computer/PS's etc and unsnaggle all the cables!!

Good morning everyone! DH and I had a mammoth sausage-making fest last evening, so I didn;t get a chance to get back on. We made about 5kg, which should keep us going a while We've made apple, Calvados and clove; pork and pigeon; and coarse ground pork. We're serving them to friends tonight, as a "shop-window" to them being sleeping partners in our pig-rearing enterprise

Todays list- the scored through stuff was done on Wed night when I did Master, DS and spare room.
The stuff in italic is done regularily but all is tickety-boo just now.
Perhaps me and DS will spend this time doing something craft orientated (which did not happen yesterday as did some filing afterall!).

Also need to: put WM on, put dry washing away, make something with Philly Cheese needing used up.
