I hope everyone is ok? Sorry I havn't got time to catchup.... It has been even more manic here - DS has got a place at Uni!!!!:D:D:D Its even doing the course he wanted :D:D:D:D What an emotional roller coaster of a day that was!!

Down side is that they won't give halls to anyone going through clearing - so now on top of moving Mum next week I have to try and find a room for DS but being as I am in Lincolnshire and he is going to Southampton Solent this is going to be a little tricky. :o

I dont think I will get much flying done here for the next few weeks - sorry!!
I am off on leave after today but need to drive to Mum's tonight to photograph the bits of furniture, sheds and greenhouse so I can put them on ebay tomorrow. Saturday is up early to get DD to work. Sunday it will be food shop for which ever GT is left behind to look after the cat.
Sunday night its down to Mum's to pack - carpets should be laid at the bungalow on Tuesdsay. Possible trip to Southampton on Monday - move day Wednesday. Back home on Wednesday night so can get DD to school for GCSE results. Thursday pm down to Mum's. Finish moving the boxes and unpacking for Mum on Thursday pm and Friday. Friday night back home again so I can take DD to work on Saturday. Sunday down to Mum's to start clearing the house/garden at the old house - ie need to clean etc cut back garden/ yet more trips to the dump. Back home on Bank Holiday Monday so i can get ready for work on Tuesday - already know that this is a busy day with several home visits - oh hum!!

Oh and in that time I need to empty both sheds and finish Mum's packing.

OMG - I am going to be shattered as each trip down is a 2 hour drive - my sister has deigned to arrive on Sunday this week and may help with a little packing while she is there :mad::mad:

Right best go and make sure there is enough room on camera to photograph everything and then need to get ready for work - oh I am so not in the mood for work!!

Hope everyone has a good weekend!!

We're pretty good with all of the above - imeasure sounds interesting, what's the craic there?

Apart from me and my showers, tend to shower twice a day as I do a lot of running and dance classes. We never have baths as the bath is titchy, I'm tall-ish and OH is v v tall.

A quick how-to with the meter would be appreciated. How can a man be able to install a kitchen and fit new windows but can't work a titchy lil meter?

www.imeasure.org.uk - you put your meter readings in weekly, and your unit costs and it draws you nice little graphs.

plug-in meter - plug in... plug appliance into it, start pressing buttons - you need the one that says kwh and it'll show you how much is being used. Things to look out for are the ones that tell you there's electricity being used when you think it's off! You can work out which are your most efficient programmes on WM/DW too. Hoovering and ironing should be minimised :D

Been to gym (oops... was weighed... have put some of what I lost back on again :o), eaten breakfast (2 figs, 1 slice bread and jam must get back to normal eating again, and exercise a LOT more during the next 5 weeks!

Off to sort out washing, shower and gather up my paperwork to drop off at the new place before going in to work (well, meeting the team for lunch then having a quick meeting, dropping of my confidential waste and collecting some books...)

    ETA - happy birthday lil_me!

    Me -

    Morning all,

I've just found out that a 23 year old who started the course with me in Feb has been found dead, she was only there for one day ( which she spent falling asleep ) and i didn't know her very well but it's still a shock.

I'm going to soft play soon and then i need to go shopping so i'll try and do a bit of flying before i go and then some more when i get back.

jinky - if your spider problems haven't been sorted, I've just seen that Triker LIKES them  so maybe she could start a rescue service and come round and de-spider houses! (She could feed them to her chickens :D ... they like them too!)

I need to get some flying done today... all this talk of spiders has made me realise why I have to keep the place clean and tidy!

Weather not too bad here it looks like it may brighten up. Kids decluttered to school, OH working across the boarder today so I have the house to myself (Mr Mac is here!). Just about to stick the WM on again and load the TD. Hopefully I will do all my dailies, lists and then strip some more wall paper.

So far I've done 1.5 hrs in DS's bedroom - it's not looking too bad so I'm hoping it won't take too much longer.

Hugs holly - that must have been a shock.

Well done to your DS me - and make sure you have a break!

Happy Birthday lil-me - have a wonderful day.
