    lil_me 15.gifHave a great day

Me - congrats to DS; I'm quite near Southampton so let me know if I can help at all. I'm away next week, otherwise I'd say you could stay her overnight if you needed to.

    holly - hugs

Dad's on his way to help me with several little jobs so I'll be back later x

    Morning all

Feeling a bit brighter this morning, hopefully I'm on the mend! Cough is a bit worse if anything though, but I can cope with that! I am making the most of the TV before the cricket starts at 11 as DH is at home today to watch it! We'll probably go out for some lunch though. DH is currently cleaning, bless him. He'll probably only get as far as hoovering and mopping the floors but I can cope with running a cloth around later.

Have been saying for ages that I'm going to sort out my wardrobe, I'm determined to put half an hour into it today. I've now lost 6lb so some stuff should fit again. I can take stuff to the charity shop when we go up the road later. I just realised it's ridiculous that I basically never wear anything from my wardrobe! Just wear the same jeans and combats with a few tops!!

Down side is that they won't give halls to anyone going through clearing - so now on top of moving Mum next week I have to try and find a room for DS but being as I am in Lincolnshire and he is going to Southampton Solent this is going to be a little tricky. :o

Firstly big congrats to DS....what a relief.....Southampton Solent was one uni we visited last year......the advantage of Southampton is it is a busy student city, so plenty of accommodation available.....if DS hasn't already, get on the uni portal website, people will be asking for people to share housing with them or he can put up a 'wanted' notice.....look up the private rental companies & get on the list, loads of people will be looking, but private landlords also are on the lookout for students. My DS is at Winchester uni, all the halls were filled with foreign students so he couldn't get in & I worried he would miss out on the 'hall' experience, but we found a private house & the advantage is he can stay there for the duration, so no need to keep moving.......good luck..if there is anything I can do from down here let me know, I'm not that far away.

there are a few flyladies down in the southampton direction, so if you need any help/want to catch up for a coffee to break the journey, let us know! Sexymouse went to uni in Southampton so may be able to help out with ideas.

    Exactly....coffee breaks available :D

Had a lovely day with sexymouse yesterday, but must do a bit of flying today :rotfl:

jinky - if your spider problems haven't been sorted, I've just seen that Triker LIKES them  so maybe she could start a rescue service and come round and de-spider houses! (She could feed them to her chickens :D ... they like them too!)

I need to get some flying done today... all this talk of spiders has made me realise why I have to keep the place clean and tidy!

Excellent, she will have to come and catch them herself though, or send me the chicken:D

wow, just went to the loo to find DH has made the kitchen look spotless :) He's currently washing the fridge shelves and the glass from the cooker hood!

juliejim - when I was in the loo i noticed my Bionsen deoderant and thought of you - it's aluminium free and i've found it gentle, might be ok for DS
