    Xmas and ML

My midwife never measures me. I have just come back from my 36 week appointment (every two weeks - is everybody the same?). She checks my sample (clear as a bell), does bp (fine), has a feel and says baby is head well done and won't move (so engaged??) and then listens to heart beat.

I'm happy with everything and she is kind of an old school midwife but when I hear you talking, I wish I knew my measurements. Might ask OH to measure me tonight lol.

ML - I think it was you that recommended the birth pool lady to me - mine should be here on Monday but I've not heard from her. I have mailed this morning so will let you know.

    Hi Nickynoo and welcome.

Vibes and hugs to all that want them xxx

PS Off shopping with step DD now so will be back later to lurk!

Sarah i shouldnt worry to much chick this is one time we can get away with shovelling what we like into our mouths without feeling guilty as long as your main diet is farely healthy then a few naughty treats wont hurt.

Congratrulations Nickynoo you must be really excited. The only thing i found helped my morning sickness was tonic water in small amounts also i had to avoid eating anything until about 10am or i would spend the whole day being sick. Best thing i found to do is keep a record of when you feel the most sick each day and decide weather it is because you are eating at those times or because you are not and take it from there.

Well done kindoff keep it up your doing really well :-) x

  • Hey all,

Welcome Nicki, Congrats on the BFP.
I am having another (again touch wood) sickness free morning which feels pretty fantastic. I can actually eat cereal again!!!!! I`m also determined to finally fill in all those stupid form things I need to send off as well as all the Emma's diary things for info packs etc. Although OH still won`t let me get the Asda or Argos packs which are the ones I so so so want. But we are looking at a friends moses basket at 12 today, they only want a few pounds for it really, so its worth a look, and I just fancy a coo over it.
Good luck to all, have lovely days

Lou that is worrying about your friend she really shouldn't be drinking like that maybe the husband should have a quiet word with the midwife himself.
