p.s the belly button thing is kinda of worrying me but I did watch the Matrix last night so maybe thats it lol Have you taken any red or blue pills lately??? lol
Emmas diary: off the doc at 5wks
Bounty pack: off the consultant at 20 wks
It seems to vary so much, think most ladies have received bounty pack at 1st scan (12wks)
Can't help on the belly button thing, have had keyhole surgery through mine so its a bit managled now anyway :rotfl:0 -

I'm having real problems explaining that one to my MIL who is about 60 years older than your DD, so no tips from me I'm afraid :rotfl:0 -

xmaslolly - thanks
Not had this myself, but I've had loads of keyhole surgery too, so my belly button has acclimatised itself to trauma!
How far along are you, and how big is your bump? Could it be your belly button getting ready to turn itself inside out? This has never happened to me in 3 pregnancies, so doesn't happen to all women, but it does happen to a lot of people apparently.0 -
I am only 11 weeks so I dont think so but I have no clue lol, its like a tingling sensation inside my belly but at other end of belly button if that makes sense lol
I dont see my MW again till 16 weeks, I am seeing a consultant at the hospital a week today so I could ask them there?
Whats Bio Oil? and should I be using that now? I am a total noob lol

Sarah jo and xmas lolly thats what i said to him last night, they are both qute young and dont live togther she lives with her mum who is also a drinker she's due in november. She is also smoking, just dont know want to say to him about the dangers etc, he was so upset last night. So i dont want to scare him anymore than he is but want to help him as well.
Sound like she could be in denial about the whole thing and just wants to carry on as normal. It could be that no harm at all would come to the baby but then it could cause all sorts of major complications he really needs to talk to a professional they could then help them both or at least help him to be informed enough to help the mother. Fingers crossed it all gets sorted :-) xx:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0 -
Am a bit confused too lol I understood it too be weeks should roughly equal centimetres. Anything + or - 3cm in relation to weeks needs investigated.eg 39cm at 36wks or 33cm at 36wks would prob mean a growth scan. 36cm at 35wks is spot on, don't know where the 40wks has come from??
Midwifes are divided on the point of measurements and I'm sure I remember reading its an outdated practice and the UK is one of the few countries that still use it. I was 33cm at 34wk appointment last week:D
csh - that's what I thought, and assumed I was spot on. But in my notes there's a chart of fundal height against gestational age and it doesn't work like that. at 35 weeks, 36cm is above the normal line and just on the edge of the zone for further tests! If you trace 36cm along, it comes out at 40 wks.MFW Challenge member no. 96 - on hold!

Its Magic kindoff and something that every pregnant woman should never be without. I wish i had known about it with my first two I could have avoided the AA road map i now own for a stomach thankfully with its help this time i have managed not to get any new stretch marks and has prevented the old one form flaring up again. Its an oraange coloured oil you can get from places like boots and wilkinsons its a little pricey but well worth. you can use it from anytime but the earlier the better IMO:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0

Very strange! Don't have this in my notes and haven't heard of itJust another example of how different everyones PCT and notes are, no wonder we get confused!! I certainly wouldn't worry too much x
