Lou66, I rearly ever go to the doctors and when i do it's usually for the kids and it's simply call in morning doc calls back take kids down 2 min check and get prescription.

Never believed my sister when she would go on about them being a nightmare. Now i know what she means. I'm still struggling to accept what happened it was like a clip from a really bad movie.

I bet you are stuggling with how she was i would be, just some of the receptionst in the doctors below are the same. I know they have to make sure it's a emergncey as sometimes i have had patients call me at 4.30 saying they are in pain but it turns out they have been in pain for days and have been too busy shopping etc to come in but now they few free hours so thought they would come in. hopefully u will get someone else in the morning but if not as i said ask for the surgery Mananger you dont have to say why you need to speak to her, if you dont get anywhere say you are going to call your local pct that should get things moving
Let us know how u get on
Darling son born 10/12/09 hopefully the 1st of many :j
  • Goodness me you are a chatty lot on here lol, I`ve finally caught up with all the goings on.
Congrats to all the new mums.

Today has been the first day in about a week that I've actually felt OK. So far (touch wood) no sickness or tummy stretching or pooping (tmi sorry)
I actually kept something other than water down today as well and am on my second small glass of pure fruit juice of the day and I can taste every single vitimin lol. I like drinking water but I do get bored of the same flavours pretty quickly.
I also had the energy to rearrange our bedroom today, all my baby things that I've been given already are in my dresser cupboard and I've rearranged everything so there is room for a cot etc later. I know its early days but I just felt such an urge to do it. I`m itching to get my hands on the bathroom and give it a good sbrub and clean now to. My I`m getting OCD lol.
Anyhoo I hope all you lovely ladys are hanging in there okay today and three2be I`m thinking of you so keep up the fight, if needs we could form some kind of pregnany lady army and storm the place (ROLF)

Stupid woman i hope she has nightmares. i can't sleep now. i woke up and all i could think of was that conversation along with a million what if's. I just know i will be tired tomorrow now can't see me getting back to sleep. at least i can play the pregnancy card and have a nap if i can just find the time in between taking kids to school getting food phoning doctors and hopefully getting an appointment. Then kids again and dinner ok think the nap will be an early night instead.

What did we all do before internet and tv at nearly 5am. Thank the lord for the comedy channel.:rotfl:

  • Morning, anyone up yet?

Just about to have a quick brekky then dash off to see the nurse for a BP check. I so did not wanna get up this morning- my one chance of a lie in. Might go back to bed for a bit later.

Sticky vibes to those who need them, and quick and easy labour to those who want those.

  • I'm up and working from home...

Sis called yesterday to say she'd had a dream Cub came and was 9lb 5 - argh!! I hope not. Looked a fundal height chart thingie and was measuring 36cm at 35 wks - 36cm is equivalent to 40 wks!!!!! Anyone else had similar measurements? MW hasn't said anything though so am a bit confused.

Had some strong period pains last night, which got Dh worried but nothing else happened :o

  • ML- Some people should just keep their dreams to themselves.

Helen- enjoy the indoor play things. I love places like that, although I guess you can't really join in much at the mo. Good excuse to put your feet up with a cuppa though.

Jillie- I totally forgot to send you big hugs and say it is lovely to have you back on here!
