Very quiet on here tonight! Was really just popping on to see if Glam had been in to tell us how her growth scan went and if she got an induction date (Think it was today anyway???) Think she must be busy with visitors
Glam said last night that her Mum who was supposed to be visiting from Thursday had changed her plans and was coming today instead so I guess she is busy with her today. I noticed earlier she hadn't been on and thought it seemed quiet without her!

    Thanks for thinking of me!
Not got time to catch up - will just check latest EDD but don't think we are expecting any news!

SJ is right - Mum is here so been busy - just having a break between courses of food! Nice Indian tonight.

Scan all fine - weighing in at approx 7lbs which is on a par with last scan where he was 5lbs and that was 4 weeks ago. So on for about 8.5lbs!!

    And got my date .....................................................................

10th September 2009 - need to be in at 8am.

    3 weeks today!!! :j:j:j:j:j

So not long to get the nursery and rest of the house ready! Might not get on much til Friday now so keep well, sticky bean vibes to those that need them and labour vibes to anyone that wants them :p
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?
  • Hi all, finally caught up!!

kindofagilr - yes I am on twitter, dont update it that often but like following the celebs hehe!!

EA ur flowers looked gr8 :)

    Glam - gr8 that u have a definate date now :T

Im upstairs watching location location location. Trying to avoid eating biscuits or ice cream as the last 2 nites I have had about 4 or 5 biscuits  after dinner and shortly afterwards felt really rotten and sicky. I would have had no probs eating these and more (bad I know!!) before I was pg so I can only assume that my stomach is squished due to the baby taking up more room. Is anyone else finding this?

Going swimming after work tomorrow which Im looking forward to, I go with pg girl from work so thats nice as we talk as much as we swim :D xx

  • I'm dipping in and out tonight. Have just popped to Asda and picked up some gorgeous little baby clothes and some half price nighties for me :money:. Got this, a cute little baby grow and a little pram blanket.

Off to bed to watch Dragons' Den in a minute. It's my day off tomorrow but have BP and wee check at 9:30 then I have to go back at 11 to have another blood test as the one on Monday apparently got rejected and I need to have them done before my anti-D next week. Lovely! Thankfully I am not bothered by needles, although I am bothered by getting up early on my day off .

32b there is no way that receptionst should have been like that with you as someone that works on reception in a dental surgery, not a gps. However we are not allowed to make decisons on the dentist behalf so i am sure it's the same in a gp's. Even more so, so if you can in the morning phone up & ask to speak to the practice Manager, to explain iam the Manager where i work & if someone says they are worried about anything i will get them in asap,
beenie glad you are enjoying your mcdonalds i had wimpy last night and loved it have to start eating healthy food again asap as i have been so bad lately.

Lou66, I rearly ever go to the doctors and when i do it's usually for the kids and it's simply call in morning doc calls back take kids down 2 min check and get prescription.

Never believed my sister when she would go on about them being a nightmare. Now i know what she means. I'm still struggling to accept what happened it was like a clip from a really bad movie.

Flying visit but wanted to say fab news to both Glam and Jillie.

Glam - Glad to hear all is well and you got your date. Best finish packing that bag!!!
Jillie - Glad you are ok too, though it sounds a bit scary at least you are home now. We were worried so thanks for letting us know.

    Hugs to you both
