    Morning all Quiet morning!

Still nothing from the postman, i know i am so impatient but i hate being in limbo.
Woke this morning and felt like my boobs were in a press think i may need to start wearing a bra to bed. Heading out to do an errand for my dad and hopefully break the back of the flooring my dad is trying to lay, trust me to fall pregnant when i am needed most. My parents are renovating and need the help.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Arghhh! I put some cheques in the bank last week and one of them has bounced! It's from a customer but I can't remember which one so I don't know who to chase up and really don't want to email asking if anyone has had a cheque bounce. Phoned my bank and they can only tell me the cheque number, well I don't keep a record of the numbers (although I will from now on) This has never happened before and I don't know what to do!

    Morning girls
Still no news on Suzy or Fairydawn then. Hope they are both well and are far too busy with their babies to post.

Glam- that is abit unfair how you were turned away from aquanatal when you don't have many weeks left.

Im so tired, really feeling the tiredness of 1st tri slowly creeping back in. I HAVE to go for my iron tablets today,in the hope they will make a difference. Hubbys gone to work on his bike and left me the car so I have NO excuse not to go!
I don't wanna go back to work next week, think I'm getting too used to being off! Not long left though-3weeks(9 shifts) :jI'l be glad to get away from all the comments about my size every 5 mins

Right, going for a shower and get ds showered and dressed, I have no energy or motivation today!!
love my little man he is amazing :j

    morning ladies
Just had a quick catch up, Tigs stay put vibes coming your way
Have a friend at mine painting the spare room which will be our nursery but not doing anything else to it yet. Oh is upset he's not doing it but our friend is a painter and oh is working 6 days a week so no time really. Really looking forward to tonight as i have two mates coming over and we are having wimpey (I know living the high life) But me and one of them used to be flat mates and used to have that as our treat when we where sknit !!! Oh's family are really upseting me as this is thier 1st grandchild, so also will be his sisters and brothers 1st niece or nephew but they dont seem that bothered at all, they have not seen scan photos, i have posted them on my facebook and no comments from them & when oh sent his mum a text with one of the scan pictures all he got back was "Thats nice dear" . So he is now going all stubbon & saying sod them up i feel i should be trying to do more but not sure what. On the other hand my famiy are so exicted & really involed i think that gets to him. So i feel stuck in the middle
Darling son born 10/12/09 hopefully the 1st of many :j

Hope you manage to get your iron tablets today Helen, hopefully they'll help with the tiredness.

Well I am not officially growing out of my clothes! Most of my trousers are really low waisted so they are ok however the skirt I'm wearing today isn't and I won't be wearing it again for a long time! It's digging right into my bump as I'm sat at my desk. Not very confy at all.

Cant the bank send you the cheque back thats what our bank at work has done in the past with a big red stamp across it saying "refer to drawer "!!!! or at the least the amount but not sure if that would help !!!

OH's family are the same he told his dad and he just shrugged his sholders and said "right", !!!!!! is that meant to mean. I know it's not the first GC theirs 9 this will be 10 but congratulations would have been nice. his brother and sisters haven't even called to ask how things are or anything but i bet the next time they need money the phone will ring off the hook.:mad:sorry nearly went on a rant.

My family on the other hand have already started to talk about the practical things, what style of pram i would like that would be most suitable. Mum has already said the kids can stay with her when i am due just in case i go into labor at night, so the kids don't miss school:confused: She even told me the best place to park at the hospital when i have my MW appointments.

All sounds good now but by the end i will no doubt be demented by the help:rotfl:

Lou, try not to feel hurt by it, some people just aren't as into babies and the prospect of them as others (and aren't that good at hiding it!). When I was pregnant with my first, DH's family were bouncing off the ceiling with excitement, whereas mine really didn't seem that interested. I was hurt at the time, but now I can look at it more objectively. My family aren't really baby people, and although they offered help and support when dd first arrived, they didn't get particularly excited. Now that my daughter is nearly 4, they adore her and spoil her rotten. Interestingly, DH's family, while they do still spend some time with her, they are not nearly as interested in her since she stopped being a baby.
This time round, I know what to expect!
;) Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky' ;)
  • Hey all,
Today is already turning into a great day!!! Went to my Drs appointent first thing with OH and told her about the issues with my midwife. Apparently my notes say i'm only 3 weeks gone when my doctor said i'm actually at least 10 weeks lol. But seeing as my midwife refused to believe me she said I couldn't have a dating scan untill 6-8 weeks time unless my doctor refered me. Which my lovely Doctor had already done after she herself had a rather impressive arguement with the midwife lol So now I need to just wait for my phonecall and get my date. Whoop whoop.
I`m so excited about the scan, can't wait to see my baby or babys as people keep telling me i'm already showing a little. odd??? There are a lot of twins in OH's family so it wouldn't be to wild an idea.
    Love to all

Our hospital doesn't give Pethidine - diamorphine instead. I'm allergic to morphine so that's out the window

Hi Glam, are you proper allergic to morphine no matter how its administered? I am only ask cos I take a allergic reaction to Morphine too, but only if its through an IV into a main line, not into flesh (ie in the a$$!)
    Just being nosey :rotfl:
