my feet are huge... my mum has really wide feet and i borrowed her ancient sandals for a few mins today and they left dent in my feet! (i normally have delicate feet!!)... in fact they're so huge i didnt have to worry about nicking my ankles while shaving my legs in the bath...

been laying laminate flooring for a couple of days and a trip to 'Jimmys Farm' yesterday... so that might be why!

off to get some feeding bras in Cambridge 2mo... sister wants to go punting after but not sure i'll be able to get in and out!

sorry to hear your news Sammy... hugs to you....

TOIL - Time Off In Lieu (I think).

Wonder how Glam got on at her sling meet. Think I will mosey on over to lurk on the Parent thread and see how it went....;)

Was good - can't believe how many different slings there are! Mine is more of a pouch sling as it's already made up. Most of the ones there today were wrap slings, I felt quite daunted trying to tie the sling and imagining a little baby in there!!!
Met Sami, 3onitsway, Sparkle and Fritha from MSE and some other mums as well which was nice - is going to be a monthly thing so I'll probably miss next time but hope to go after that. It was good to put faces to names but was strange meeting people for the first time but knowing that your not actually strangers!!

Aqua natal - drove 9 miles to Wigan for it and there was already 20 women there so I couldn't go  I was fuming and nearly cried because I had raced over there. It seems unfair that I only have 3 weeks left and other people are only 20 weeks - it's just first come, first served so next week going to make sure I am there mega early.

Went to M&S and took the outfit back - got a £21 credit voucher then went to Boots and got 4 packs of Maternity Pads and a Pack of Heavy Always Pads as they were only £1.

Parentcraft was much better tonight - but we covered the stages of labour and pain relief  I'm now sh1tting myself and said to OH that I don't think I want to go into labour :o
Our hospital doesn't give Pethidine - diamorphine instead. I'm allergic to morphine so that's out the window  OH said 'You're not having an epidural, too many side effects' which I actually do agree with (I was just glad he was paying attention and reading the handouts).

So my pain relief options are TENS machine, paracetamol/co-codamol, gas and air and maybe Meptid. I am hoping this gets me thru!

Just had tea and now I am pooped! Lots of rushing about so OH says I must have a lie-in tomorrow, but I want to get my bag packed now I have quite a few bits together and sort the nursery out.

I am currently having the most intense pains in my foof and at the bottom of my bump - feels like when your bladder is really full it gets painful.

SJ - or not-so-secret!! Now you've got me lusting after crumpets and butter. the best crumpets I've ever managed to buy are from Waitrose... really thick... might just have to pop in now. jacket pots too... cannot understand why when you go to some cafes they put the filling in and no butter! wos that about! It's like going out with no knickers!

Basically am obsessed with 1. carbs (bread, pasta, pots) 2. butter on carbs 3. cheese on the butter on the carbs!!

You sound very much like me!!

I also hate it when you get a jacket potato and they ask if you want butter, you say yes then they put marg on it! Arghhhhhh!!:p:mad:

Hey Glam. That's a realy shame about aquanatal. Guess it's just your luck and you will know next time. You don't really want to be rushing around too much though at your stage! Glad the sling meet went well. It would be really interesting to meet everyone from here whom you have spoken to. Weird that you kind of know them but don't.

Starting Parentcraft tomorrow night. I really can't be bothered as I am so tired at night, I just want to lie down and not move. Will really have to motivate myself to go. If I so much as mention that I can't be bothered, DH will start working on me as we both want to watch the footie! But I think we need to go so will make the effort.

WM - I think it probably is BHs I am getting, but not had any that have taken my breath away yet.

Evening all hope everyone is feeling well.
So Sorry sammy, no words are right at these times(((hugs)))

I'm also in the throws of pasta love too having lasagna for dinner much to OH annoyance as he dose not like it. his alternatives for dinner are pasta with cheese pasta with chicken and mushroom sauce or corn on the cob that guess what he won't eat lol

Think I may have to let him go to Tesco for something else. need to do a proper shop when we get paid. And a freezer all he ever wants is mince stew and spag bol can't be bothered with the same meals every night. Will need to freeze portions then me and the kids can have a varied diet. of pasta with different sauces:rotfl:

Hang on a minute - he'll eat spag bol but not lasagne? Isn't it pretty much the same thing but in a different shape?! Men!

Harley - Happy Birthday! That cake sounds fabulous - I am definitely going to try a rich chocolate cake with a mint buttercream filling!!

Aless - Happy Birthday for yesterday and sorry it's late!

Glam that's pants about aquanatal. If it gets so busy they should let people book so you don't waste a journey going over there. Hope you get in next week.

Tigster - Extra sticky bean / stay put vibes on their way over to you

As for counting down the days I seem to be doing that constantly at work! I get married 3 weeks on Saturday so I'm counting down until I finish work for that! 4 days left this week, 4 days next week as booked Monday off, 3 days the week after as we get Mon and Tues off for bank hol, then just in Mon and Tues of the week after! Then after that I only work 4 lots of 3 or 4 weeks at a time between weeks off for AL, then start mat leave!!! I'll finish after the third week in January but counting down between holidays makes it seemso, so close!! Scary thought but good that I get lots of hols as I'm really fed up with work at the moment.

ETA - I'm still loving freecycle too - comedy value is terrific

I like spag bol but am not a huge fan of lasagne! I will eat it but prefer spag bol

Re aqua-natal - the annoying thing is, you have to ring up at 1pm to check it's on so they should take a list of names then and if people don't ring or more than 20 people ring they should be told it's full. I'll only get another 2 in now (what with bank holiday coming up) so will have to find my swiss ball so that from 2 weeks tomorrow (start of Week 37) I can get bouncing!

lol i know i kind of went on a rant tonight about that and the whole with this baby coming you cant be so fussy. and he eat a full portion. so now he can't say no. won't push my luck making it to often though or he might revolt again and stop eating it, baby steps me thinks:rotfl:He says it the white sauce he hates but loves the same sauce to make macaroni

I can't wait to star aquanatal class love the water but i get panic attacks so swimming lengths is a no no at my pool as the lanes go from shallow to deep and if i was to get an attack at the deep end!!! well lets just say it's not a hunk of a life guard that pulls you out think homer Simpson :rotfl:

Sticky thoughts to who ever requested cant remember name Tig something(?)
