And stuff you won't have time to do once the baby arrives either!!0 -
Just as well Squishy - I am in a chatty mood tonight! OH is studing for some course he is on next week and there is nothing on TV. And I had a house full of boys at the weekend!0

Also some pains across the middle / top of bump, so must be brackton hicks? Some aches in my sides too. What about you, Glam or Harley or Jillie - you're all due the same time as me. You getting pressure? '
Hi Squishy, i'm due round the same time as you also. Am getting loads of pressure. Has been quite painful internally, (sorry TMI) but this could also be due to recent UTI. Also get very strong BH, which hurt lots.0 -
I am still not sure if I am getting BHs. I thought I was last week as my bump went quite tight a few times, but now I am not so sure. It hasn't happened as much in the past few days, so now I am just wondering if it was baby stretching out or something which was causing the tightening. How would I know?
Definitely getting pressure in pelvis. Particularly when I stand up, I can hardly straighten myself and have started to waddle slightly. But only sometimes - sometimes it's fine.0 -
Hi all.
Thanks for the birthday wishes. Quite a cool day, and just had some more of the lovely cake. Had a friend drop by tonight (announced) with some chocs, flowers and a card so its taken me a while to get on here.
Squishy - I'm starting to feel a bit of pressure, especially if I am upright for any length of time. Baby seems to be pretty heavy and bottom of bump gets really sore and achy. Feet are like elephants to which is making me feel really attractive. Baby is pretty active, and loving to stretch mummy as far as she can without splitting me open down the middle - been having visions of her bursting out alien stylee
I have also admitted defeat on the 'working up until last minute' front. I am now debating whether to finish 2 or 3 weeks early. I was really concerned about finishing a project at work, but today I realised that actually, I have much better things to worry about and I am so worn out that I wouldn't be able to give it my best anyway. Plus, I found out today that some people don't seem to be as committed to it as I am so I'm not going to work myself into the ground to make it happen.
5 weeks tomorrow. Can't believe it is going so quickly. And everyone seems to think she will be an august baby so I could well join the queue jumpers too (though I hope not - I'm not ready)
Congrats MBM, cant wait for piccys.

Evening guys - sorry I haven't been around much, and I probably won't be again for a while
Looks like they'll be admitting me in the next couple of days for continual monitoring and eventual early c-section. Whilst I know it's going to be boring as fck, I'm kinda hoping that I get stuck in hospital for as long as Mrs_Moc (!) so that Beanie can last a little longer inside of me before making his appearance.
Can everybody send sticky-bean dust my way, we need him to stay in as long as possible.:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

Tigster, sorry to hear you will be stuck in hospital but it sounds like it will be for the best to keep an eye on the little man. See if you can get a dongle (or whatever it is) so that at least you will have something to keep you occupied.
Lots of sticky bean dust coming to you by express carrier pidgeon, and all the very best if you don't make it back on here for a while.

Thanks workinmummy and harley
Fitzio - I've not been having any tightening of bump kinda things: more cramps, which the midwife told me were BHs so I'm having to believe her.
Tigster - lots of sticky dust! Hope bubs stays where he is for as long as possible.0 -
Tigster - hugs to you. Hope baby stays put. Sticky bean dust coming your way. x0

Fitzio, Squishy.
With BHa's bump goes really tight and it kind of takes my breath away. At first i thought it was baby sticking its bum out or something, took me a good few weeks to realise what they are. I swear i never had them at all with DS. My midwife said the MR Brackston Hicks who named them, said that they didn't hurt at all. Well HE would know wouldn't HE.0
