  • Thanks everyone for the advice about DD and the scan, I've spoken about it with DH and I'm going to leave her in nursery until afterwards and get her a photo - decided that this will definitely be the less complicated approach!

Jam - congrats on your baby girl!! Hope you two are doing well & you can share some piccies with us :D.

Gemma - I've been getting stretchmarks since about 15 weeks, I swear! It's horrible...I guess I'm prone to them, as I've had some in various places from weight gain/loss since I was a teenager. I have an absolute ton across the front of my belly now and I'm only 26 weeks...woe!

Hope ML is cuddling her little girl now & that's why she's been missing since Wednesday!

jenny - I hope someone answers your NCT question as I've been wondering the same thing, too! Were you thinking of going to the one in late Sep? We were going to go but have run out of spare cash this month so will delay til the October one in Dulwich.

GISI - good luck your last day, you lucky girl!! 10 more weeks for me :D

    congrats JAM!!! :j

Labour vibes to Harley, Squishy, CSH and anyone else that needs them (nut not Jenny, 27 and a half weeks  stupid woman!)

Girls, being a mum is so glamorous - night before last I got covered in pee when I took Jack's nappy off, then I went to put him in the bath and he musta put his foot in his pooey nappy so I got poo all over my arms and top. And then last night, he was a greedy boy so projectile vomited all over me and himself at midnight! I cried more than him :o
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

Poor you Glam. He is just showing his appreciation for everything you do for him in the only way he knows how. He is giving you presents. Just not the sort you thought you wanted. lol.

    Bet you forgave him though;)

Thanks for the vibes. Think she has got herself all comfy though. Tonight would be good. Mum and dad have gone off for the day with strict 'not yet' instructions. Like I'll have any say in it.

Does anyone know with the NCT sales if you should go with a pile of cash or if they take other forms of payment?

Had a lovely B'day today, lots of flowers, chocolate and a chest of draws - better than it sounds :rotfl: Aqua natal was great as well but very tiring.

Nikkit, so sorry to hear about your horrible experience, hope everything starts getting much better for you now.

ARGHHHHHHHHH! jenny - I must have remembered about 5 times yesterday "must say Happy Birthday to jenny tonight at aquanatal" and clearly completely forgot. I am a BAD person, sorry! Glad you had a lovely day tho, even with forgetful people like me around. Chest of drawers makes for an interesting present!

    JAM - congratulations!

Got in from aquanatal last night to do cake decorating - my brother did a Vegas elope last month and the party is tomorrow. I ended up making his wedding cake and the request was gold and deep red - the edible gold spray paint apart from being deeply un:money: at 14 quid, makes the cakes look very very very yellow gold - eek! Get to meet my new sister in law for the first time tomorrow too - more eek!!!

Took me 2 hours to get in this morning - &^*(&^*&"$%"$ trains. On the bright side, only 47 commutes left :j

How do I find out these sale dates, all the ones I found on the NCT website were miles of time / distance away. Or I am just rubbish at using their website?!

I would treat NCT sales the same as a car boot, take cash! (never been though!)

always - from what I've found, there's one in Clapham at the end of September and one in Dulwich end of October. There's probably some closer to you on different dates (maybe out in Surrey?) - yuo just have to look on NCT's website and find the best sale for you.

    This might help: http://www.nct.org.uk/in-your-area/nearly-new-sales
