Nikkit - really sorry to read about the problems you have been having. Really pleased that you are home and doing ok and that baby seems to be thriving regardless. That's great news. Fingers crossed that it's easier from now on.
DH is making chicken fajitas for dinner and they smell great!! I can't wait. He isn't keen, but I insisted on spicy food he he. And I gave him a hard time for not helping me enough so he volunteered to make dinner. He is good compared to most really - I think I was just getting a bit fed up and emotional and don't feel he was listening to me. I just don't want the house to be a tip when I go into hospital as I don't want to come home and be worrying about stupid things when I have a baby to concentrate on.0 -
Hi all, just caught up!!
Nikkit - Sorry to hear you have been having a rough time of it, great news that baby is fine though
I am currently sat on my ball as feeling quite uncomfortable on the sofa. At antenatal last night she was saying about how in the old days woman tended to walk everywhere and scrub the floors etc etc whereas now we tend to drive a lot and our sofas are all laid back... thought this was a good point really so am trying to sit foward more now, already do quite a bit of dog walking in the mornings so hopefully this will all help. xxBaby Toby born 17th Nov 09 :j0 -

Yay Gemma for team PINK!!!
Aless love the bump pic!! I still can't believe we even have bumps, doesn't seem that long since we joined!!
Can't stop thinking about hearing the heartbeat earlier - it's made it all seem even more real, which is weird cos i get loads and loads of movement so it's got to be real iyswim?! Told ex on phone and he's gonna visit to help me get started on decorating and he wants to hire a doppler lol. I'm far too tight to spend money on such things though lol.0 -
GISI - If you have any friends with sky get them to recommend you as you will both get M&S vouchers ( I think this is the current offer). My friend got me £50 half of which I have left for something nice for me when baby is born. Rest I spent on stuff for baby.
xxx
Or a free sky+ box
Aless - Lovely bump!
Gemma- Yay for team pink!! I think im having a boy to, and i admit i have bought some boy stuff hehe. Find out in 5 weeks though
Went to my nan's after work today, to show her my scan pics, she loved themShe has started kinitting me a blanket, well i thought she had just started but she has loads of it ready to sew together
Then she showed me some cardi's she wanted to knit, then i went through her knitting patterns, and pretty much made a clothes order for her lol.
Have some cardi's, blankets, booties and hats coming now
And she gave me a changing mat that she had under the stairs and its really good quality still
I currently have heartburn, but no gaviscon, i dont like buying it though, it costs lots of moneys
I see my sister's friend who is pregnant, and she had an early scan cause of dates and she showed me her 7 week scan picl the baby is tiny!! Compared to mine at 13 weeks lol.

I got a prescription from the docs for Gaviscon, he gave me a huge bottle too :T I didnt have to have an appointment to get it, I phoned them up and they said if I faxed a request explaining I am pg with heartburn then they will do a prescription. Got it really quickly, maybe the next day?!Baby Toby born 17th Nov 09 :j0 -
Hi everyone, hope you and your bumps are doing well.
Nikkit - I'm sorry you're having such a hard time, though relieved that the baby's ok.
I got the invite to my first scan in the post today - Friday 2nd Oct, 3pm - can't wait, I'll be nearly 13 weeks then, I think.Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'
