Can I jump in with some nappy stuff? I am expecting girl number four (I am 21 weeks) and plan to use Bimbles, then Motherease until about 9 months, then Bumbles until potty training. This is what I have done with my others and it has worked for us (same nappies, how money-saving is that?) lol. I tried terries but never got the hang of folding them and getting them really tight so they didnt fall down.

I am taking Spatone too, as I am always anaemic anyway. My midwife doesn't rate it, but iron tablets do my tummy no good. I did try an iron syrup on prescription, it tasted awful but did the job with less of the side effects iykwim.
  • Ive bought washables too and they seem huge! Not sure how any clothes will fit over them as even the smallest ones we've got look massive. Ive got a few packets of disposables for the first week or two while we get into a routine so maybe they'll be better when we go into 0-3 month clothes not newborn?

Hugs 32B - try not to get yourself upset about it again (easier said than done I know) and look forward to seeing your little bean soon on your scan.

Nikki - they say mum knows best so maybe subconsciously your bodies telling you somethings starting?

Not too sure how to do links to other threads but just been lurking on the parenting thread and saw Tigs got skin to skin contact with Andrew today :T Her last line made me tear up :o

And then I had skin-on-skin cuddles with him for the first time :j :j :j I was going to ask about it, but wasn't sure if he was stable enough / big enough / ready. Today's SC nurse did her dissertation on kangaroo care, so she suggested it before I even asked. And it was lovely, he fitted just perfectly against me and settled right down for a good hour's snooze, arm outstretched onto my boob. I'm a Mum :D

Glam, loving the photos of Jack. He looks really cosy in the bouncer, can't wait to be posting matching pics of my little lady.

    Not long now hopefully.

Sweet FA lol, i called the police last week when i heard her on the phone hitting my mum trying to get to the phone. All the done was take her to the psychiatric unit (yes the same one)who said she's fine and they returned her home even the cop was not happy about it. He said his only other option was to arrest her and mum refused.

AS much use as a fart in a space suit:rolleyes:
