Ohh of course, that makes more sense  I can see why it would be so worrying for those who have had bleeding, but if it's your first it's low risk isn;t it? And if it's not you'd have had anti d before, if i read it right?

you got it beanie. Its the not knowing that is frightning - once you know what it is all about its not so scarey. :D I only got the leaflet because they give them out for everything to save the time explaining here:rolleyes:

Lol well i've had no leaflet or explanation :D

They prob assume i knew about it cos it's not my first, but i was 17 then and just did as i was told and asked no questions to an extent.

DS told me earlier that he saw a spider and lost it when i came armed with a shoe to squish it. Now i keep seeing things in the corner of my eye thinking it's the evil spider :(

Thanks :) I just wondered how your pants were meant to stay up lol

gill - I had the blood tests done at my booking appointment with midwife at about 8 weeks, did the doc tell you that you have to see her?

Also if you are Rhesus Neg I think you are ok for your first baby its the babies after that that you need injetions for

Lou - awww that was really nice of him lol

Glam - I hope Jack feels better

gill - what kind of spotting is it? is it pink or brown? cos I had brown spotting at 5-7 weeks with slight cramping

t2b so sorry to hear about your sis, the docs have no bloody clue

I've got an appointment with the midwife for next Weds. It's just been brown and very very light. Had not at all today tho which has been nice! The doctor said I should go to a & e if I get any more but I think I'd feel a bit silly!!

I'm going for a bloodtest in the morning re the rhesus negative stuff.

Been out for a lemonade with my bestmate and I feel soooooo much better after chatting and getting it all out of my system.

Gill - I'm glad to hear that the bleeding has stopped, sorry if I worried you earlier, I could only tell you what my experience was. Don't worry about going back if you start bleeding again, it's always best to find out what is causing it. During this pregnancy I've had cervical erosion and it was such a relief to find out that that was all it was.

Trying to decide if I should buy the TT CTN breast pump in the ASDA sale just in case I can't breast feed all the time, might think about it over night and decide tomorrow. They also had some nice pyjamas for £5 but none in my size :( (don't have a store near me so have to buy online)

Also thinking about this it's an ear thermometer and room thermometer but a bit expensive. We're not getting a monitor as our flat is so small Noogle will never be far away.

Can you tell I'm finally trying to get ready for Noogles arrival! Still need to think about the pram though but keep putting it off. Do you think I'd be crazy if I though I could manage with Noogle in a sling for the first couple of months then buy a push chair later?

Labour vibes to ML and Jam!!!! And good luck 32b for your scan tomorrow.. sorry later today!

Right off to bed otherwise I'll end up falling asleep at work tomorrow!

  • :hello:Am I first up?

Off to work, for my third to last day. Ante-natal was good last night- covered pain relief which was interesting. My hospital doesn't offer mobile epidurals, which made me think even more that an epidural is my last resort (never say never). Still really keen on a pool though if that is possible- have a water birthing class on Thursday so hopefully that will be interesting.

Fingers crossed for some babies when I get home tonight- ML, Jam, Fitz I'm looking at you all........ 32B good luck with your scan today.

Done very well with them all £50 for the birth to potty set and a pack of kooshies(around £35 alone) and swim shorts for a girl pity i don't know what i'm having. i was considering disposable pads for use at night did you try them or jump to the nappies for ease?

we were given a pack of 10 of these, and they were quite good. Hmmmmn could look into those again, where's your supplier?

And (nearly done honest) do you use nappy wash/nappysan etc how often etc and are they ok when dry paled sorry but i don't know anyone that has used modern washables to ask lol

used to use nappysan, one box lasted til he was 5 months old :money::D Now just soak in the sink! We did try dry pailing but I found I could still smell them even with a good fitting lid, and there were some yellowish marks :)

gonna go google the brands you like now :o:D

Can I jump in with some nappy stuff? I am expecting girl number four (I am 21 weeks) and plan to use Bimbles, then Motherease until about 9 months, then Bumbles until potty training. This is what I have done with my others and it has worked for us (same nappies, how money-saving is that?) lol. I tried terries but never got the hang of folding them and getting them really tight so they didnt fall down.

I am taking Spatone too, as I am always anaemic anyway. My midwife doesn't rate it, but iron tablets do my tummy no good. I did try an iron syrup on prescription, it tasted awful but did the job with less of the side effects iykwim.

    congrats gin :T:T:T:T

why those particular brands originally? I get that now it's about having them already!:money:

does the spatone help the anaemia?
