  • Hello ladies, hope everyones well.

    Congratulations Princess - she's beautiful!

32B - if you have potatos, cauliflower or yoghurt/coconut milk any of these will help to dissipate the heat slightly. Ive done it a few times when Ive realised Ive used the really hot curry powders we brought back from Goa instead of 'normal' ones. (Really shouldnt transfer things to random jars and forget to label them!)

ML - hope things start moving (and keep going!) for you soon. Lots of labour vibes your way.

Weezl - welcome back! I think I was lurking after getting my bfp just as you had your little one, lovely to have you back.

SJ - have a lovely wedding day!

I know there were lots of other things I wanted to say but memories gone blank sorry. OH's away at a wedding in London and Ive been highly unsociable and not gone. To be fair it would have meant probably having to go last night, paying for two nights in a hotel, two lots of new outfits etc etc and Ive never met the couple getting married so OH went on his own early this morning and is sharing a room with one of his old uni friends so much cheaper all around. (And I get to have the bed all to myself tonight :D)

Sorry Ive rambled on so much :o 31 weeks today :j

Well Im back from shopping, didnt buy a lot!! Went in baby gap, m&s, blooming marvellous and didnt buy a thing!! Just nothing took my fancy and also a lot seemed dear, I think its cos up to now we got such a lot in the sales!!

Did get a wallace & gromit calendar for next year and some raspberry leaf tea in holland & barrett. I need to search glams posts now to find out when and how much I should start drinking.

Hi Boogelly, I dont blame you about not going to the wedding, especially as you havent met the couple before. I am finding things so tiring now (Im close to your due date) and I have my brothers wedding in 2 weeks time which obviously I will be going to, but am glad as we have booked a room in the same hotel as the wedding. So at least I can pop up to our room if I want a rest/lye down at any point. :) xx

    Congratulations princess!

Add yoghurt or potatoes to your curry, 32b, or mix yoghurt and cucumber to make a raita and serve alongside.

    Happy wedding day SJ!

Hello! I like Llandough a lot and I hear good things about new UHW unit, but I think I'll probably try to stay at home again, unless things go a bit pear-shaped. I'm only 4 mins blue-lights from from the ambulance station on North road, and then 8 mins to UHW. Llandough is a 45 min transfer to UHW, and there's nothing they can do for me there that I can't have at home IYSWIM?

Rhyme time is lovely :) I'll come with you your first time if you like, it's a bit weird going to things first time isn't it? :)

Where will you be for your labour? Also, why are you  about your EDD, was your dating scan at a different time? Sorry to be nosey :)

Ive got a  coz halfpint wont cooperate on the scans re sex so i asked for a . You must be close to me as i am only 10 mins from UHW. I havent had the best experiences with the UHW so far but we will see.

I would have loved a home birth but i am stuck with consultant lead care (only for high bmi, anesthetics problems and mild heart prob) Who knows i might leave it a bit late to get to hosp;) the midwives are constatnly reassuring me that i dont have to go in if i dont want to. but most prob i will be stuck on the consultant lead care unit - not the nice new midwife led one:rolleyes: heres a link to a bbc vid of the new midwife led centre if you fancy a peek http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/8196127.stm

I dont see what they can do for me in hospital tbh because i become unwell and shake at local anesthethics and have difficulty coming around from ga's most painkillers make me ill and i am just going to be relying on a tens machine and a lot of screaming i expect:D

three to be - if you curry has chopped tomatoes in it you could add more to even out the curry - thats what i usually do - does end up as a tomatoey red curry though.

    CONGRATULATIONS PRINCESS SHE IS GORGEOUS:D:j:beer:
