fattyboo that pic you linked to the baby looks mahoosive, ouch
*changes mind about giving birth* :rotfl:
Yeesh, somehow that model makes it look ten times worse than any photo I've seen. Not looking at that again until after January!
Morning all! Have had breakfast, but need to get off bum and have shower, etc. FWIW, I don't really 'exercise' much either. It's a 10 min walk to train, 15 min walk from train to work and of course back again in the afternoons (and coming home is up a mahoosive hill) so I count that as plenty of exercise for me! Want to start doing aquanatal once on ML, but other than that I tend to count housework towards exercisingtop 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

BeenieCat - Yes i am having a girl. How are you planning for Christmas? At the moment i am just assuming she will be here. If it gets to a week before and she isn't i guess i'll have to come up with a plan b!!
I have no idea, and i'm soooo skint so i'm hoping to dip into my hipg and surestart for Xmas pressies, i'm only buying for my DS(6) and a few bits for my nephew & neice, not buying anything for baby. I'm assuming i'll already have had her by Xmas too, and i am trying not to even contemplate the possibility that i could be in hospital over Xmas, cos it would mean not spending it with my son and i'm now single with not a lot of family support
Maybe if she's not here by 20th i should sit in hospital lobby and refuse to move til someone gives me a sweep :rotfl:0 -
*changes mind about giving birth* :rotfl:
I announced eight hours into labour that I'd changed my mind and was going home. They gave me an epidural shortly after, possibly just to stop my legs working.
You'll be fine

Weirdly, or perhaps naturally (?!) i keep having 'flashbacks' of DS birth!
It wasn't traumatic or anything (i'd have said different at the time tho) but it was just soooooo fast and i didn't have time to get my head round what was happening lol.
Everyone had kept telling me it would take about 12 hours cos it was my first, so when my waters broke at 1am and i rang mother she said go to bed cos i wasn't having contractions.
Well the pain started at 2:15am after i'd convinced her i should go into hospital to be checked, and he was born at 3:16am
So i think i'll order my own execution if my next labour is a long one, trying not to assume it'll be as straightforward and quick but it's hard not to hope :rolleyes:0 -
i'm off to Tesco in a bit to see whether they have the last few bits i need to get in. The rest is going to pay for the nursery carpet!
Omg i just saw this, are you seriously that organised?!
I've bought nothing yet. seriously not one thing. But i do have a few things my sister has given me if that counts?
On another note, i'm soooooooooo peed off cos the brand new Mothercare maternity leggings i got on ebay and haven't taken off since (lol) have worn in the inner thigh so there's some little holes. Tut! I'm normally a 14 but there are a 16 and they're bloody leggings they should allow for thigh rubbage IMO. Grr0 -
Beenie - shame there off ebay you could have taken them back!
Ladies who have golfs stick with em, not only are they lovely cars they are great for getting pretty much any car seat in hehe.
Well busy day today gotta sort out the last bits for car boot, hope we can make a fair bit tommorow , as we have spent a lil bit out the baby savings recently (all on baby related stuff tho) and would like to make them back up.
OH just bought us bloody great bacon rolls as the cupboards are bare! Not very MSE I know but he insisted I wasnt going anywhere till baby had food lol. Anyhoo they were yum and am now set to go.Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

Too quiet in here, you must all be enjoying the sunshine. I avoid the sun like the plague, i'm a misery guts0

I was thinking the same thing, Beenie! I love the sun but for some in one of those moods where nothing sounds entertaining, so just wander around house aimlessly as don't feel like doing housework eithertop 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne
