On another note, i'm soooooooooo peed off cos the brand new Mothercare maternity leggings i got on ebay and haven't taken off since (lol) have worn in the inner thigh so there's some little holes. Tut! I'm normally a 14 but there are a 16 and they're bloody leggings they should allow for thigh rubbage IMO. Grr

i got maternity leggings from New Look- black and thats all i wore on my days off from april till aug till i bought some cheap trackie bottoms from asda. they havent worn one bit. i am usually a size 16. and bought the large and there was plenty of space for baby. also bought pair of their white 3/4 leg leggings in large and they have done me as well. think the mat ones were £8.

    Hello,

I'm around. Got up and sat around for a while then made hubby breakfast in bed. Same as Boo - since it's the weekend, we slept in the same bed! ha ha. What a treat for him! Although it means that I get even less sleep than usual so just got up and left him to have a long lie. Just going to do housey stuff today and watch some football.

Had a few pains in my lower back last night and bump was much more uncomfortable than usual, but don't think anything is happening. Just wishful thinking. Might bounce on my ball some more as that seemed to have caused it.

Anyway, wanted to say good luck to SJ!!! It's her wedding today. Hope the sun stays out for you and you enjoy your honeymoon if you aren't back on here before then. It's probably too late anyway and you will be married by now, but thought I would post anwyay!

Omg i just saw this, are you seriously that organised?!

I've bought nothing yet. seriously not one thing. But i do have a few things my sister has given me if that counts?

Well i am known for being organised!!! A bit too organised sometimes i think! There is still a few things to get and we have agreed to stick to basics and see what we actually need when she gets here. So far we have sorted...

Nursery -painted, just carpet to get this weekend and then my mum is making us the curtains for in there. We already had a rocking chair that is now in there, a chect of drawers and little table. We are getting a cot from a friend in the next few weeks and not bothering getting bedding for that until we need it, shes going in moses basket to start with.

Moses basket, play ring thing and bouncy chair were given to us by a friend.

Have bought plenty of vests and babygrows in 0-3 months and 6 of each in newborn and am also getting a parcel of a friends little girls clothes in the next week or so. My mum is knitting us some cardigans. I just need a snow suit but am waiting to see what comes in the clothes parcel first.

Got bottles and a steriliser. Am actually planning to breastfeed but as its over christmas i wanted to have things in just incase. Will get some emergency frmula in nearer the time. Just want a breast pump at some point but no rush with that.

Got plenty of blankets just need sheets for moses basket.

Not bothering with a baby bath.

Need nappies and changing mat, got changing bag and loads of muslins.

Just need to stock up on things for me really, breast pads and maternity pads and things and then basics for baby like cotton wool and cotton buds that sort of thing which i'll just add to the weekly shops from now on to spread the cost.

Wanted to get as much done by the end of this month so that i can concentrate on getting Christmas pressies next month and use November to relax and to squirrel a bit of money away before she arrives!!

Phew, and thats all without consulting one of the many lists i have so i'm bound to have forgotten things!!!

It's so not like me - I have a memory like a goldfish. I was always in admiration of Elle when she was on here as she remembered everything!!!

How you feeling today? No signs of little one appearing? Wonder how ML is getting on.

i cant remember anything at the moment. came upstairs before (to get clothes to wash) walked into baby room, moved the steriliser and walked back downstairs with no clothes!! didnt even go into our room to pick them up.

i feel fine today. some 'tunnelling' still going on but no signs at all. i know i;m not due yet but i kinda wish they would hurry up as i am getting tired now

Ha ha. I get like that occasionally. DH is even worse.
I brought down the tray with empty breakfast stuff and said "can you bring the washing down please?". He came down without the basket 2 mins later. Then said "I forgot the washing" and went back upstairs to get it. I said "Can you bring my phone down with it as I just heard a text?". Back downstairs - no phone, but at least he brought the washing!

We will definitely be the couple who leave the baby somewhere and forget about it for a few hours!!! (Only kidding, just in case anyone reports me to social services!) ;)

Harley hasn't been on today has she? Was she on yesterday? I can't remember now. Hope everything is well with her too. Better go and do some housework now. Chat later. x

I know, Beenie! Well actually I just did do something productive (make Twink Hobnobs), but it was something I WANTED to do rather than something I NEEDED to do. I.e., the laundry desperately needs putting away & floors need sweeping but instead I think I shall take a nap - LOL! Pregnancy lethargy has already set in, oh no! :)

ETA: sending lovely wedding day vibes, SJ!! May your day be wonderful, memorable and happy :D and enjoy the honeymoon!!
