SJ - oooo, your wedding is getting so close! Bet you're getting excited? :D
jillie - hope all goes well at the hospital; we can send you some early labor vibes if you want!
elasti - hope you're feeling better!

I've been sneezing tons too, but that's b/c I have a cold. Was exhausted, but couldn't brain to switch off last night - and then couldn't get comfortable. Not sure what I need in way of pillows, as every configuration seemed to not work! Getting so frustrated with waking up all the time & not getting proper sleep :(

    Morning ladies
Jillie best of luck sending those vibes, Sarah joanne hope you have a wonderful day.
Hope everyone is ok, how strange there must be something going about as i keep sneezing as well !!! Aless know how u feel i am getting up so many times in the night to either go to the loo or because i cant get comfortable and then come back to bed to find oh has taken over the whole bed and i have to try because he's not small to push him back then i manage to get back into bed and he lands on top of my head with either his head or his arm.. Have not got a pram yet because not sure if my parents or his parents are buying it but getting a bit worried now as no one on here seems to have it but saw it in a shop and feel in love.

I keep having vivid dreams too. The other night i dreamt my ex got his ex pregnant while he was stil with me, and in that dream was a weird train journey where everyone was running across the tracks and you had to go under the train to get on it.

Last night dreamt that i had the baby now, and i'm only 26+5  Woke up before i found out the outcome but woke up feeling worried about having a prem baby :(

  • Hi All

HAd a bad night too... was in for monitoring for ages yesterday after CMW sent me over to the hospital (reduced fetal movement)... Waited 2 1/2 hrs to go on the monitor and then was on for over an hour til doc came by. He said generally fine but not 100% happy so sent me away for an hour... DH and I bolted some dinner and went back about 9.30pm. Again, had to wait ages... contact kept getting lost... but was finally let go home at midnight and wished well for HB :)

Interesting to see "tightenings" on the graph - def stronger and more regular the 2nd time (TOCO up to 43%) but cub isn't any more engaged so MW said we shouldn't get excited :o Told me to try to move cub onto left side by sleeping on left but left shoulder is sore so it's difficult. Just couldn't get comfortable... first really bad night's sleep :(

Had a few more tightenings this morning but no other signs :( just feeling really frustrated!

Sorry for the long miserable post!!

Aww, big hugs ML. Its so frustrating towards the end. Your hoping every little twinge is something happening (but at the same time hoping its not!)
Had my DD at about 38wks so not sure how I'll cope if I go over lol
Just out of interest why does MW want cub on left side?
  • Thanks CSH

It's better for labour apparently - and also less risk of baby rolling round into back-to-back position? She thought that if I could get cub round I would go into labour but that seems to be a bit optimistic? Am sure I read somewhere that it's hormones the baby secretes that set labour off, i.e. it comes when it's ready!

  • I have a qestion that has just popped into my head it's for WM really but if you know please answer. She went into spontaneous labour but still had her section, Did you still have a blood tinning injection? was there time? I have been told i must have one 12 hours before section and 12 hours after and this is the case with all sections so i am told, so if i go into labour it won't be the 12 hours or doesn't it matter as long as you have had it.
    This is my signature!
  • Just found this:

"The position of the baby's head changes during the course of labor. At the onset of labor, the baby is usually facing toward the mother's right hip with the back of the head toward the mother's left hip. This position is called left occiput transverse. This position allows the widest part of the baby's head (the front-to-back axis) to correspond with the widest part of the mothers upper pelvis (side-to-side)."
