evening all, what a quiet day here!

BP appt this morning all fine and - finally - a doctor with a brain who accepts that I am home monitoring (which I am!) and my next bp consultant check (assuming home monitoring OK) is in 7 weeks :) . Also spoke with a lovely midwife and am seeing her in 3 weeks - and she gave me my HIP form without prompting, my faith is restored in the local hospital! Hope scan tomorrow goes just as well - typically after 2 days of worrying and mentioning it to doc earlier, bump been fidgety all day.

Jenny & Somnium - sees you at aquanatal tomorrow hopefully! Am the short one with the turqoise bikini, brown hair.

jillie - hope your bp appt tomorrow goes OK.

  • Hi all, sorry I have had a friend round tonight so only just catching up!! Had my first antenatal class this morning, mainly about pain relief, found it quite interesting and helpful. She mentioned that if bump goes all hard but no pain then this can be a braxton hicks. I didnt realise this, as this happens to me every now and again!! Im oddly chuffed that Im getting them and even oddlier I am looking forward to getting another now I know what they are!! xx

Glad your class went well Boo. I am dying to get some BHs! I am due in 11 days and don't think I have had any yet. I know that not everyone gets them (and some people get them and don't notice), but I would feel like I was getting closer to birth if they started I think.

I am still not sure what I want in the way of pain relief. I suppose it will just be gas and air and then wait and see and if I need anything else, just go with their recommendations (diamorphine/epidural).

I am really quite bored tonight. Watched the football which was exciting and disappointing but now at a loss for what to do. Might go and bounce on my gym ball!

Ok, never got round to bouncing on the gym ball. Every time I stand up from the sofa, I need to pee. And then I forget what I was going to do in the first place!

Off to bed now. Just popping on to wish Princesswoo good luck for tomorrow. Look forward to hearing from you once you have had your little girl.

Night night anyone still around. x
  • Well this is a pretty ridiculous time of day to be awake and on here!!!

You may remember I was saying the other dat that I get sneezing fits for no obvious reason, well I woke up just after 4 needing the loo so got up to go ans atrted sneezing and I haven't stopped since. Got out of bed cos I kept waking OH up. Now I'm sat downstairs tired and sniffly and still sneezing. Grrr.

Not been on much the last few days as been so busy getting everyting ready for the wedding. Spent 10 hours yesterday making my wedding cakes (and another wedding cake order too that's getting picked up Friday.) Was mad busy at work Mon and Tues too finishing everything off before I left.

Will go back and have a read through a few but no way I can catch up on everything!

    Hope everyone else is good!

Might not get much chance to get back on here now really so may be away for some time! Back from honeymoon on 28th so will def be on after then!!!!

    Speak soon xx
  • Oooh not really caught up much but checked EDD list and CONGRATUALTIONS XMAS!!!!:j:T:T:j:beer:

Hope you and Joey are doing well.

I'm off back to bed now to try and sleep for a bit longer. Still really sniffly but not sneezed in about 10 mins so here's hoping I can get back to sleep!!
  • Morning everyone,

Thanks, aless. I will post on the parent thread.

It's my 4-year wedding anniversary today so I'm going to take it easy pretty much and just wash a few toys that we got from SIL. Otherwise I'll be feet up in front of the tv. OH and I are going to pizza express for dinner tonight with our Tesco vouchers, which will be nice.

    Have a nice day everyone.

SJ - Hope you get that well deserved sleep and no more sneezing fits. I've been sneezing a fair bit lately too, thought it was a cold but has never appeared! If your not on again, then just wanted to wish you all the best for the wedding :D
