Oooh, just got a text from one of my friends to say she had a baby boy a couple of hours ago. So at least I know someone who got the cool birth date of 09/09/09 since it appears no-one here has managed it!! Unless you have disappeared Bear??!
aw I was hoping someone would have gone into labour today for that cool date!
My boy went in his bouncy chair last night :j
it woke him up and he was so funny in it as well - wasn't sure what to make of it at first but he was soon enjoying it!
Jillie - oh, back pain?!!! Could be the start of something!
OH just reminded me that my induction was due for tomorrow - if Jack hadn't already out in an appearance I'd be pooing myself right nowA very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -
Hi Glam :hello:
Its good to see you around still, loving the new avatar! Glad Jacks liking his bouncer too. Sounds like your loving being a mummy
I give up, my pooters being really slow tonight so going to go and have scones and cream to see if the belly monkey approves as I dont think she's currently too impressed with the lamb curry I had for tea! Night all xBelly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0 -

Glam, is that the M&P Barnaby Bear chair that I have? Be nice to hear that someone loves it.
I'd hoped that I would go today, much as I am enjoying being lazy, I would have liked todays date. Am going to be really lazy for rest of the week. Got interrupted at friends today, her little girl was poorly, so she is coming to me friday evening now. Need her advice on the chap who still seems to be chatting me up via text. I'm fairly sure she knows him and would know if he is joking or not. Might have to tread a bit carefully on this one.
Got any more pics of Jack Glam? he is so cute it is making me want cuddles.

woohoo ladies and bumps
Well went to phsio this afternoon and was really impressed with it, was a one off session with 5 pg ladies all suffering back ache. we aere given lots of info and advice and fitted with support belts to help support backs and pelvis, we also have open referals so can go back when ever we need it. Really informative and feel much more aware and educated now
Looking forward to aquanatal tomorrow, just tried on cosie to make sure it fits and am all good to go
As for weight will be 15 weeks tomorrow and have gained about 1stone already, however the only thing thats grown is my bump! However as I lost a stone and a half only to get pregnant shortly after am sure thats one of the reasons its all piled on so fast. Am not really bothered by it though hehe.
Oh and I have reserved my Pushchair already but its not being delivered till feb, should I add to the list?Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

P.S. if you weren't worrying it would probably mean that you didn't care. I fully expect to worry myself sick for the first ...ooh, 25 years or so. Trust your instincts and make the most of the advice that we have access to on here. Keeping an eye on the parent thread in preparation and they all seem to know what they are doing. By the time I join you it'l be you giving me advice.

I recently read something about nettle or fennel tea being good for milk production.
Is anyone going to start drinking these?
Combined or separate?
When are you going to start and how many cups a day?
Thanks, ladies.

Glam - I know I have no experience, but in relation to you expressing milk for breastfeeding, I am sure at the BF workshop I went to last week, they suggested that the best time to express was after the first feed in the morning. They also said that even if you weren't producing much and feeding baby from bottle/spoon/cup etc, you should let them suckle on your breasts anyway as this should help with milk production and be comforting. If Jack able to latch on at all or has he not mastered it yet?
Don't worry about what you are doing though. I think it's completely natural to get the baby blues about 3,4 days into it as the euphoria has worn off and reality hits home. You know this already anyway, and you know you are doing a good job! And formula is not the end of the world!!
Just go with the flow and try not to worry too much.
Som - yes, add your pram to the list!0 -
Bear - I've heard fenugreek is good for milk, but the ladies on the Parent Thread are the real gurus!top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne
