    hi girls

I put on a stone and a half whilst pregnant and have lost it all (day 7).
had a shower and OH said I looked fab so I weighed myself and am back to 8 stone :D

It's amazing how much fluid there is in your entire body that you don't even realise. Jack was only 6lbs 3oz but I've lost the whole lot.
I only really noticed when I was drying myself the other day and could feel my bony arms.

I do have a jelly belly though - which will be worked on in a few weeks. ;)

Yes, it is Fenugreek and also Blessed Thistle but I don't think any of you need to worry about getting anything until the time comes. Like Sami said RLT is supposed to help with milk production as well so I'm still taking it - I even had a cup of it during labour!

You can buy the Fenugreek (but it's expensive) and the prescription is for Domperidone - if anyone is interested then feelie posted me some great links which are on the last 2 pages of the Parent Club Thread 5.

I'm struggling to get any milk but that's probably because of my operations - I'm getting such a piddly amount, I'm just going to use it on his sticky eye. It's not fair to keep putting a bottle in his mouth which has 10ml of breast milk in it (and that's from a whole day pumping!)

Where does the time go?

...ETA - the ladies on the Pregnancy thread definitely say that Fenugreek is what to take to help with milk supply and also oats - porridge/flapjacks etc. They have been advising Glam on it and I found other old posts too. Not sure you need to do anything in advance though, maybe only if you are experiencing problems. I have no experience though, just passing on what was said!
you're right no need to do anything beforehand:)
Breasts were made to feed babies, they usually don't need help ;) best thing for successful BFing is to get baby latched on ASAP after it's born, ideally within 1 hour. (BFing straight away will help get the placenta out, It's amazing how effective it is, I could feel it working as Edgar fed!)
There are no guarantees with these things though but we're always about in the parent thread with help when you need it :)

Found this site which may be of use to you ladies http://www.midwivesonline.com/

okay, I'm this close to seeing if I can scoot off at 3...my head is killing me and I really just wanna lie down in bed :(. I think the worst about being pregnant & sick is you can't take anything to help!

Wow Glam. Pre-preg weight in 7 days, I'm very impressed. Doubt it'll work that well on 4.5 stone but am fairly optimistic. It's mostly baby and thighs still so hoping it won't take long to lose.

    Afternoon everyone,
not been around much the last 2 weeks as i've been poorly and trying to catch up on housework. Just a quick catch up from me - had my booking in apt with mw last week all went well but she coulnt figure out my dates, she thinks i'm due towards the end of april although i'm thinking more towards the start myself. If i'm right i'm 11wks on sunday and still on sign of date for my scan, i thought i would of had it by now. Think i'll give it another few days before i ring tho. Hope everyone is keeping well, hi to any newbies etc i've found it hard to keep up with you all sorry.
Congrats to glam, little jack looks george, i was lucky like you and only put just over a stone on and lost it all pretty much straight away, dont think i'm gonna be so lucky this time tho i'm already bursting out of my regular jeans and trousers:o
Thankfully i think my sickness has finally passed although i still look like death even caked with make up.
Just had some news about my friend who's due her second baby, she went in for a section on tues coz her baby was breech, she was all preped up and ready to go and her baby only went and turned 5mins before she was due her op! Dr said there and then they would not be going ahead with section anymore and she'd just have to wait it out now. She was devastated bless her.
