Harley - I was just given my iron tablets in a pot nothing else with it.I wonder if we'll have any births on Wednesday 9/9/9
Nicki - my tummy has felt like that for weeks. In fact the look of horror on my brothers face at the weekend when he saw her foot (or whatever) stick out the side of me was hilarious.

Ha Harley normally I am quite anal about these things. I totally havent read the leaflet in the packet, oops, I will do that when I go upstairs next. Guess I am used to them telling you the major things when they prescribe it, but as I got this prescription over the phone I shouldve really thought to read it, oops!!
Karen, I was told to aim my antenatal classes to start at between 28-30 weeks pregnant. The sessions in my home town commenced on either 26 or 35 weeks so they were no good, so I had to go to the next town (where I work so not too bad, about 10 mins away) when the sessions commenced at 31 weeks. That was the best I could do.
We get 4 consecutive Wednesdays for 2 hours each sessions, 1st and 3rd sessions are in the morning (which I will go to on my own) and 2nd and 4th sessions are in the evenings (which DH is coming to too). Amazes me how much it all seems to vary across the country!!

Me,me,me!!! This is the date I want! This one or 20/09/2009 will do me!
(Actually any day apart from the 29th, am not allowed to give birth on DD birthday!)
Hadn't noticed that 20th would be a cool day too.
Only one I want to avoid is 11th and I guess I'm probably not the only one. Though sod's law dictates that'll be the day she chooses just cos I don't want it.

Now that is clever! I can never keep posts in my mind when I am catching up after a lull, so always end up missing things out. Thanks for the tip!0 -
Hello,
I have been lurkiing here on and off since I found out I was pregnant and now I cannot believe I am over 35 weeks!!!
I am finishing work this Friday :T and I can't wait!
I was wondering if you guys would kindly look at what I have packed for the hospital (just in case) and let me know if I have got everything I will need...
ME
Slippers
2 Nursing Bras
5 pairs of knickers
Nightie (to give birth in)
PJ's
Jogging pants, T-Shirt and Jumper to come home in
10 breast pads
10 maternity pads
small shampoo, showergel and deo
Hairbrush and bands
Toothbrush and paste
Make-up
BUMP
3 short sleeve babygrows
3 long sleeve babygrows
3 sleepsuits
coming home outfit
2 hats
2 scratch mitts
2 bibs
2 muslins
wipes
Obviously I need nappies - but how many?
And do I need to take some of my own formula milk?
Also I know I need camera, change for car park, car seat and blanket...
Can't think of anything else!
What do you reckon?
Thanks in advance!

My iron tablets came in a tub too, and I didn't think they had a leaflet with them so had no idea. I have found that Boots have put the sticky label with my details over a folded leaflet which I hadn't realised before so I had no idea it was there (better check the tub again Karen as it sounds like you have the same as me!).
Never mind, it's obviously not that urgent if it's only because it reduces the absorption and I am only borderline anyway. If I am taking 3 a day and can't take it within hours of taking milk, tea, coffee, eggs etc. then I have no chance! I am lucky to remember to take them at all never mind fitting them round my food!
Have taken 1 of my Ranitidine about an hour ago. So far so good! No foamy burps!!!0 -
