Right, DH is home and has picked up my prescription so fingers crossed it works. He went to Boots and they said they didn't have stock of it as there was a problem with the manufacturing so slight panic, but another pharmacy had it so phew!! Dinner is ready too - nice timing. I am such a good wifey!! ha ha.0

Evening all! Lots of chatting today- you can tell that the September Ladies have started their ML!
FE- Even if you know your blood group, if you are Rhesus - and do decide to have the anti-D then they will want to test you again- I had to have a test within 14 days of the injection even though I've given blood for years and therefore am certain of my blood group.
Kindof- that is some very thorough catching up you've been doing! Nice to see you back.
EA- Great bump pic- I reckon you'll see a big difference over the next couple of weeks as bubs has a growth spurt!
I don't know if anyone remembers but a couple of weeks ago I ordered some bits from the Blooming Marvellous sale. Well I finally got round to getting the parcel from the sorting office tonight and I love the stuff. For £30 I got two vests, two T-shirts, a zip-up hoody, a smart top and a swimsuit :money:. The quality is lovely and it all fits really well- I just ordered my pre-preg size.
I am getting very short-tempered at work- I just cannot be bothered anymore. One of the people I am handing over to just seems to have an answer for everything, and already knows it all.......will be interesting to see how they go when I actually leave as I have a feeling what I am saying is going right over their head . I did tell them today that I would not be answering any work calls when on ML...I think they were a little taken aback by that!
Off to ante-natal in a bit. Not sure what to expect, but if I can stay awake till 9pm I'll be doing pretty well.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Nikki - which pram did you go for again? Are you quite happy with it? Ours is unpacked, but it's in the bedroom. I should probably get some practice in at putting it up and down and changing the car seat etc. as the last time I tried to show someone I couldn't manage it!
I splurged out on the Bugaboo Bee. If the worst comes to the worst, I'll have to wait until Wednesday to work out how to fold it down, when my -BF is coming over for lunch, as she has one for her little one who is now 7 months. I am pretty sure though that its just me being clunky with my swollen fingers. I'm having some orthodontic work done at the moment and managed to break my aligner trying to tighten it this evening, a few hours after I'd tried and failed to fold the pram . Fortunately that's not the disaster it might be, as I was due to get a brand new one on Thursday anyway because they hadn't manufactured it quite right, so it's only that I'll have put the end date for the treatment back by 3 days, not that I'll have to fork out another £700 (ouch!) for a new one...0 -
Hi all
I don't know if it's a bit early for me to come and join you on here but I've just found out that I'm prgenant. Did a cheapie test last Sat before I went on hols (so that I knew to avoid alcohol!!) which was positive, another one partway through the week (in case the first one was a chemical pregnancy!!) which was a darker, quicker positive and then a clear blue digital this morning (denial? lol) which was also positive and says 2 - 3 weeks.
The main thing that's bother me is that I don't really feel pregnant! My tummy is a bit dodge and I seem to be getting some indigestion which I've never had before, but no sickness, no sore boobs, no extreme tiredness.
I'm a bit worried that this could be a sign that it's not going to stick. (I know everyone says a lot of sickness is usually a good sign) Is there anyone on here who didnt really have any symptoms at this point but is progressing well?
The week leading up to my positive I was dead tired at work and had a really achey legs so I so do wonder if lack of symptoms is partly due to being so relaxed and just lying on beach all day last week!
Also is there anything else I need to do? I have made a drs appointment for next week, I'm taking pregnacare suplements and have googled what I should/shouldn't be eating lol
Hi Gill
If it makes u feel better, I didn't know til 9 weeks and went to the docs thinking I had a kidney infection because of a pain in my left side!!, I had no sickness at all. Had been napping but only from about 6 weeks (i think) was just knackered after work but had been busier then usual so put it down to that.
I had been doing eveyrthing wrong up to that point too as we weren;t trying, but am now fast approaching 20 weeks (19+4) and all seems to be ticking along nicely. Hopefully finding out the flavour next ThursdayBoots: £107.xx on AC :j

Hi everyone.
Kindof - Well done at catching up and all your replies, I am v impressed
GISI - All of that for £30 sounds like you got gr8 bargains!! Well done you!! Your antenatal class finishes late doesnt it, our 2 evening ones are from 5.30 to 7.30. I finish work at 5pm so will prob meet DH there. Dont think I will have time to eat before though so will be marvin by the time I get home afterwards!!
Been reading the conversations about iron tablets with interest. I didnt realise about not taking at same time as drinking tea either, nor about taking them on an empty stomach (doh, this is common sense really isnt it!!). Im on 2 a day at the moment.
Remembered to finally call the docs about getting a prescription for heartburn so hopefully they will do that without me having to go in to see a doc.
Got my first antenatal class on Weds morning. One of the girls from work is going to the same one so at least I'll know one personxx

You're supposed to avoid taking them at the same time as milk as well so don't take them after breakfast if you're having cereal! (Can't remember if its 1 or 2 hrs after milk)0 -
:hello:
hi everyone.
well am home again!! :j:j
finally got to speak/see the actual consultant i'm under!!
so...
back up at hospital antenatal ward on thurs for BP check, baby check etc... if all ok will be home afterwards. any concerns will be admitted again
then next monday ante-natal clinic with consultant. if everything still ok then will be prob hospital check again on the thurs. however if any changes or signs of higher BP or symptons of pre-eclampsia i'll be induced. he's recommended that i am induced as well rather than go on my own, but he said this is down to me and if i want to wait i can do.they cant make me have induction. however he doesnt want me to really go over my due date. so at this moment i am still a bitover it all but....there is a plan in place now which i didnt have before.
i;m not to have any cmw visits either as he says this is contributing to my high BP, as i am stressing/worrying bout the BP which is making it higher!! so just hospital appointments from now on!!
it now feels really weird to be at home at not on the ward.'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
