I saw a sterisler in Home Bargins for £8 I wish I had got it now, its this one http://www.kiddicare.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/productdisplayA_140_10751_-1_14052_84618_10001_14052 asda had it for £20 or £25 I cant remember now, do you think they will reduce that in the event? or should I go back to home bargins?

When is the asda event again?

Also about the steriliser, I am hoping to breast feed but want to express so DF can feed babybean as well, will that steriliser be ok? I havent really researched these things yet
As per my post it'll be £10, they always stock them so it won't get reduced further after the event
If you use the TT hand or electric pump (electric currently half price in boots, mine's just arrived) they come with their own steriliser but that one is fine for any other pumps, it's the one I use :D
I have no idea personally what my blood type is, I just figured that someone would have thought to have written it down at some point.
I`m honestly not worried about having any tests at all as I believe that what will happen will happen. I hate medical intervention of any type or variety.
Just wish OH wouldnt lay on the guilt trip.#
    thanks for all the answers
Ask for your records to be checked to see if it's been tested before, provided you're RH positive you can tell OH to shut it :)

Bit harsh, poor guy sounds like he just wants a bit of control over his unborn childs health. I'd be happy he cares enough to show an interest.

aw EA won't b long til ur living in those bed clothes!!!

I think I plan to create a gaining weight post baby thread - I am amazed at how skinny my arms and legs are. The baby weight is def a lot of blood and extra fluid around the body!
Welcome home again Glam. Glad Jack is doing so well. Thanks for the reassurance on the weight falling off, I am really starting to get a bit worried about the size of my legs. I wasn't sure they would ever fit into another pair of jeans again.
well today is officially my 1st day of ML,,,and i am so tired, must have had about 2 hrs sleep last night,,then had to get up early as guys come to fit stair carpet,,i will prob get a nap this afternoon,,,,
Hey lil miss, my first day too. Though I've not had much rest, midwife/tesco/town/asda and mother have seen to that. Hope you are having your nap now.

Ladies, am looking for advice on changing bags and currently have 3 that I keep changing my mind over. Think it's the baby brain and hormones as every time I make a decision, next day completely change my mind - that's what I'm blaming it on anyway.
Has anyone had any experience with any of these three:
    - Mamas & Papas - Luxury Collection Changing Bag- Polka - looks like there's
lots of room inside but not very MSE - but might have found a cheaper
    second hand one hopefully.
    - Skip Hop Duo Deluxe Bag Black - good recommendations but again, not very
MSE - lots on ebay but all look like the older one which I think had alot less
    room in them.
    - Tippitoes City Changing Bag (black) - this is the most MSE of all of them but
not a great deal of info so not sure how practical this is.
Don't want to go for a cheaper one then find it's false economy as end up ditching it after 5 minutes if it's no use.

    Hi Nozza.

I was going to recommend someone but when I went on the website it seems that she has sold everything. The site is etsy from USA and the bag I got is http://www.etsy.com/view_transaction.php?transaction_id=18238655
There are plenty of other ladies who make fab bags on there (don't forget americans call them diaper bags). That one came to £27.82 when I bought it at beginning of August. Far cheaper than any I have seen here. Take a look around the site and see if there is anything that catches your eye. I really can't recommend mine highly enough - its just a shame she seems to be having a rest at the moment.

Went to midwife today. Heartbeat nice and strong, still not engaged but happy baby as far as she could tell. I'm happy to keep her cooking for another couple of weeks yet so I hope she is getting comfy. Seems my halfhearted attempt at taking the nasty iron tablets has had no effect so I am now on the full 3 per day dosage. Not sure I'll ever go to the loo again on that many!!!

Fitzio, glad you got some heartburn tablets, hope they are as effective as mine. Got a repeat order in for some more of them too.

Hugs for 32B, sorry life is being cruel at the mo. Maybe it will reward you with the most beautiful, well behaved, sleep through the night from 3 days old baby ever.

Just succumbed to temptation and unpacked and put together the new pushchair, plus a trial spin round the living room. It seems really nice, but I haven't been able to fold it down again :o. Think its just because my fingers are too swollen and puffy to manage, but will have to wait for OH to come home to do it. Though having said that my nine year old will probably manage it in seconds when he gets in from school :rotfl:

I'm loving the omrepazole hb tablets Harley! The relief is enormous have hardly touched a Rennie or Gaviscon since I started them. They do tend to take a while to kick-in in the morning but once they've started working they're great. My doc hadn't heard of them either he looked them up in his book first and said no links made with probs and pregnancy.

Yay - I've actually found some comfy knickers that stay up:j! I originally bought two different sets of six off ebay to avoid the expense of Mothercare. One set were supposed to be maternity but were like my usual ones that I'd had to ditch as they kept rolling down and the other set were bizarrely, over-the bump thongs (I hate thongs at the best of times but when you've got thrush, piles shh and your a r se has grown to the size of England they are :eek:!!) So false economy trying to get cheapies. Got a pack of non-maternity full-brief ones from ASDA just in a bigger size for £4 and they are great!

Ooh btw they have the cleaning event on at ASDA and have 2 x regular bottles of fairy liquid for £1 and 2 x regular toilet ducks for £1 amongst other stuff so the shelf under my sink is now groaning!

Got loads of laundry done with the lovely weather just not looking forward to ironing it all!

Also every one I meet has started saying "ooh I bet it's dragging isn't it" and "I bet you can't wait for it to be over" - this seems a far cry from less than 2 months ago when people were saying I don't look pregnant so I must now look huge:eek: Does that mean in a couple of weeks people will be saying I look like I'm going to "pop any minute" - I really hope not!!

Blimey 32b what a nightmare you're having at the moment. I feel sure you will be ok money-wise and that you will get it sorted out soon. You're right that job does sound awful, really hope your OH is successful soon in a job he wants. Hugs for you x

Hope everyone else is having a good day x

    That would be nice lol

Just back from my mums, things are not very good at all sis is getting more violent before it was an incident every few days now it is several in an hour. Dad is sending mum to my grans to stay before she hurts her self again. I took her dogs out for a much needed walk to collect DS from school so that should keep them happy for the night. Mum has a big back garden for her dogs so they should be ok until tomorrow. Feeling better now but just can't see how we can survive with no money. He had better do well in this interview because i never want to deal with the job center again.

    Hope everyone is well.

Fidget i wish the job he had the interview with was a job he Wanted but their is nothing around, and he has put in for jobs he has done before and hated and ones he won't get in a month od sundays but they say you don't get if you don't ask. He has tried all sorts but when they can get away with paying a 17 yr old minimum wage instead of someone with experience they will. He even tried Tesco but their was literally hundreds put in for it.

Kindof - you are officially mental! :rotfl:

Nikki - which pram did you go for again? Are you quite happy with it? Ours is unpacked, but it's in the bedroom. I should probably get some practice in at putting it up and down and changing the car seat etc. as the last time I tried to show someone I couldn't manage it!

Ahh I forgot.....I'm on two per day and I hate them - you can't drink tea in the 3 hours around when you take them (I keep forgetting this) and if you look at my post above regarding why I don't wear thongs!! Be warned, they are the cause!! So make sure you get your bran and drink plenty of water as I don't recommend them!! I've never suffered them before in my life until I started these tablets (obv. being preg makes you more susceptible (sp?) too. However, they're really important I'm afraid in case you lose a lot of blood during the birth and they have finally got rid of my horrible restless leg syndrome.
