ah just read on label of old matteress, NON PREFERRED SIZE , only use in cot/ pram 73 - 76 cm x 26 x 30 cm ,, should i be measuring basket rather than old basket ?

OK i'm gonna murder OH when i see him.....as if i don't have enough to worry about.
The post just arrived and one was from the job center so i opened it and it says they are stopping all of our money as he did not apply for a job that he did not want. They wont accept his reason for refusing it. even though he has an interview on wed they say he is not looking for work.
What a stupid set up you put in for 5 plus jobs a week but disagree with one and slam they leave you with nothing. Very nice.
And it's dated the 31st aug so where has it been for a week.
Please send get job vibes for Wednesday or i wont be back on as i will not be able to pay the phone bill AAAARRRGGGG

Wish i hadn't got out of bed this morning now. Mum is just of the phone the appointment for my sis did not help. Despite the consultant telling her that it will only be a small adjustment to her ankle to fix her limp she pulled the place down saying he had made her disabled and ruined her life. He is now refusing to do the op untill she has help from a psychiatrist. The psychiatrist is referring her to the GP to see the consultant as he say he can do nothing until she has the op.

She has attacked them both again today and when mum called the psychiatric hospital they said she is fine and their is nothing they can do for her so she called the doc who says it's out of his hands and is down to the psychiatric hospital. She went on a little rage to him and is waiting for a call back but quite frankly given the farcical events of late i doubt anything will be done.

nikkit - I'm pretty sure Glam was having similar problems with measuring her Moses basket mattress a while back...I'll have a nosey to see if I can find the posts.

ETA: it was fattybooboo that I was remembering! Here's a helpful post: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=24069997&postcount=4622 - basically try and measure the basket and then ensure there's a least some gap so you can tuck in sheets/blankets but not more than 4cm according M&P website or something.

Most bigger stores are fine about it. smaller stores are all different some will let you in to try collars etc others will bring a selection out to you.

Ladies, am looking for advice on changing bags and currently have 3 that I keep changing my mind over. Think it's the baby brain and hormones as every time I make a decision, next day completely change my mind - that's what I'm blaming it on anyway.
Has anyone had any experience with any of these three:
    - Mamas & Papas - Luxury Collection Changing Bag- Polka - looks like there's
lots of room inside but not very MSE - but might have found a cheaper
    second hand one hopefully.
    - Skip Hop Duo Deluxe Bag Black - good recommendations but again, not very
MSE - lots on ebay but all look like the older one which I think had alot less
    room in them.
    - Tippitoes City Changing Bag (black) - this is the most MSE of all of them but
not a great deal of info so not sure how practical this is.
Don't want to go for a cheaper one then find it's false economy as end up ditching it after 5 minutes if it's no use.

Very excited as have 20 week scan tomorrow and OH and I both want to find out the sex.
Still waiting on results of lots of tests for lupus and other nasty auto-immune types that they fear may be lurking which may mean not being able to go full term. Not so good!

nozza - I THINK I have the M&P one (got it in the Next sale, so unsure if it's that exact type), so I'll have a look at it tonight when at home and let you know what I think. It arrived while I was on hols a few weeks back and I confess I've barely glanced at it since! :)
