morning all
have any of you ladies who are in the last stages been getting pains which seem to be at the front of the pelvis (pubic bone area)? It's kind of like a burning pain but not like a uti, feels like the bone... I seem to get it when I lie down on my side, better if I have a pillow between my knees...
Was wondering if it was the ligaments stretching?
What's everyone else got planned for today? Am going to tag up all my stuff to sell at NCT sale andfinally finish packing my hospital bag (39 weeks!!) Making meatballs in roasted cherry toms and shallot sauce and spaghetti for dinner (DH deserves it after epic roast dinner he made yesterday) Must get on with my studies too... no rest for the wicked.
Have been thinking about cub a lot recently after the news of nanc's friend's little girl... all these hopes and expectations we have for our LOs and we just don't know what lies ahead.MFW Challenge member no. 96 - on hold!

I find my first pee in the morning feels fine but after that because I'm vertical or sitting for the rest of the day thre is a bit of pain like a UTI when I pee every other time. I thought it was my IC playing up or I'd caught an infection but sample tests were negative and my MW says the pressure of the baby's head can make releasing urine or coming to the end of the stream painful.
I also sometimes have pain down the inside of my right thigh and my left buttock but think again that is to do with where the baby is lying on nerves. These things are sent to try us, not long now and I shouldn't complain as it's ben quite plain sailing for me - not at all what I expected.
Just freecycled 6 more things I came across while dusting!

Morning ladies
Back at work after being ill all of last week, OH has now got my cold from last week and according to him it's ten time worse for him . So had him laying in bed all of yesterday dying. Back at work and so wound up there was no one in on friday so the nurse that thinks she knows it all should have been cleaning up etc she has done sod all, and she's not in today for me to talk to. She's left a pile of papers that she could have sorted though and my boss is being funny with me, I hate it there sometimes it's like i being made to suffer for being ill. I never take time of the last time i had anytime off ill was two years ago !!! Sorry rant over right off to catch up and see how everyone is doingDarling son born 10/12/09 hopefully the 1st of many :j0 -
csh - that sounds like the same thing! Luckily it hasn't stopped me getting to sleep but it's really sharp for a while. Am hoping it's just everything getting a bit looser for the birth! Due a week today though an early appearance would be fine
On the Glam plan so you never know.

Morning all,
I was wondering about Lolly too. She is usually on quite early if she is around! Fingers crossed the home birth is underway.
ML - I have been getting a lot of pain and stiffening in my pubic/pelvic area too, but not what I would describe as feeling like a UTI. It just seems to stiffen up if I haven't moved for a while or been sitting in the car. Takes me a while to straighten my body. I assume it's just baby moving down and getting ready. I suppose it means the birth is getting nearer! How exciting.
GISI - I find it difficult to get bored too and like others, normally have 1 thing to do each day. This could be meeting a friend for lunch, shopping, batch cooking, house work type chore etc. Around these things, I am on the web (surprisingly) and half watching trashy TV. It's my third week, and whilst sometimes I think "what can I do next?", I would rather be at home relaxing and having free time than at work as I am much more uncomfortable and just being able to sit down for 5 mins rest, whenever I want, is great. You will love it!!! And enjoy it before your time is no longer yours!!!0 -
Morning all. hope everyone is well.
Workingmum where are the pics??? want to coo over baby lol
Glam hope baby is enjoying the sun and his feeds are going well.
I'm sitting on the edge of my seat waiting on my sis getting back from seeing a consultant about an operation she had last year. She is currently fixated on it saying it has left her disabled unable to walk etc but she can walk fine considering it was suggested it may need amputated but she just thinks she can't walk because she limps a little. Dad managed to get her an appointment so we are hoping it may reduce the amount she stresses about it but we may be left with her filling the gap with something else after the appointment. We just can't catch a break at the moment.
Had some great movements from the bump last night that really took me by surprise. I seem to wanting chocolate as well which is a strange experience as i don't like chocolate but just had 2 slices of toast with nutella and want more:rolleyes:
A week tomorrow till get my scan and can finally put a due date on the list :T[STRIKE]Little bump 3 on it's way[/STRIKE]:j
