    Well how depressing.

DS has gone back to school, i feel soooo tired and cba to do anything constructive, but at the same time i feel like i'm at a loose end. The school hols were a shock to my system after 6 years of working through them and not being around my area which becomes a hangout for all and sundry from 8am-11pm. I was out of work before the hols but ex was here then so it wasn't as boring.

I've already had a nap and i think i'll write a list of all the stuff i need to do, which should help me keep busy.

Sooooooooooooooo depressing!! I should start decorating really but it means money, which i don't have yet, will have to apply for my hipg soon that will help.

I just rang docs to make my 26wk appt and they're full til 17th so i'll be 27+5 by then

At docs tomorrow to see a mental health worker, this is how long it's taken since telling my doc 3 months ago i was suicidal!! Good job i wasn't isn't it lol, i'd be long gone by now. Still i think it might help to talk over the crap i've had from ex and hopefully have someone else tell me it's not me, but him!

Thanks Fitzio - it was very pleasent. DH made me a cake, I took DD to the park and met my Mum for an ice-cream and we all went on the little steam train around the park! Wow, my birthday's really changed since DD came on the scene :D

No need to tell me, we have told the docs my sis was suicidal for years and even on one of the days when she tried they gave my mum a lecture about wasting their time as my sis was fine. honestly if he'd come to the door i think i would have smeared his face in the blood.

Owww got all aggressive their think i'll stick the kettle on.

Mummt2mygirls i found out a month ago phoned the doc straight away and the fun began, next week is my emergency(i kid you not) appointment that the doc arranged the day i called. no idea how far along i am had to change docs just to see a nurse and bought a doppler to put my mind at ease over the baby. badly disappointed with the nhs.

    Hi all

I don't know if it's a bit early for me to come and join you on here but I've just found out that I'm prgenant. Did a cheapie test last Sat before I went on hols (so that I knew to avoid alcohol!!) which was positive, another one partway through the week (in case the first one was a chemical pregnancy!!) which was a darker, quicker positive and then a clear blue digital this morning (denial? lol) which was also positive and says 2 - 3 weeks.

The main thing that's bother me is that I don't really feel pregnant! My tummy is a bit dodge and I seem to be getting some indigestion which I've never had before, but no sickness, no sore boobs, no extreme tiredness.

I'm a bit worried that this could be a sign that it's not going to stick. (I know everyone says a lot of sickness is usually a good sign) Is there anyone on here who didnt really have any symptoms at this point but is progressing well?

The week leading up to my positive I was dead tired at work and had a really achey legs so I so do wonder if lack of symptoms is partly due to being so relaxed and just lying on beach all day last week!

Also is there anything else I need to do? I have made a drs appointment for next week, I'm taking pregnacare suplements and have googled what I should/shouldn't be eating lol

  • Hi Gill,
As I understand it, everyone feels differently. I didn't find out I was pregnant until I was about 4-5 weeks along, I hadn't really felt any symptoms before then - however now at about 9 weeks, I'm really feeling unwell and nauseous a lot of the time. You may well find that you suffer a bit in a few weeks time, or you may be one of the lucky few that never suffer. Either way, I don't think you should worry!

Thanks ladies, I feel better already! I'm pretty sure my Mum had 2 fairly easy prenancies with me and my sister and didn't really suffer with morning sickness so hopefully it's hereditary!

Hi Gill! Congrats on your BFP! :D It's pretty much an old wives tale that if you don't have any symptoms, you're going to have a miscarriage. I was never sick once (I felt nauseous sometimes, but never enough to be ill or stop me from eating) in the whole 1st trimester and definitely did not 'feel' pregnant for absolutely ages. Some women get more symptoms than others, but it doesn't necessarily mean anything re: the health of the baby!
