I'm now getting very nervous about tomorrow i hope we get a nice magistrate i have a sinking feeling we are going to get the b***h from hell everyone has warned us about though.
My dad has kindly offered to take me there so no driving for me i just hgope he gets here in time as i have to put his eye drops in for him before we can go.
Glam i wish i knew when bubs is going to come out like you do would make life so much easier. I still cant quite believe how close we are to our dates.
One odd thing from my antenatal yesterday she doesnt want to see me now until the 15th which is after my due date i thought they would want to check me weekly now. Apparently if bubs isnt out by then they will perfom a sweep for me there and then he had better come out by then there is no way i want to be induced that would mean me going to hospital and would be my worst nightmare:eek::jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0 -
Cant really afford classes but would be willing to give aquanatal a go if I could only find a class that is a) near by and b) not on while Im at work
If you can find one I was under the impression that aqaunatal is classed as one of the appointments that you are entitled to paid time off for from work. Might be worth looking into if you can find one0 -
On aquanatal, I think they do it at my gym, well, I'm sure I've seen a group of pregnant women doing exercise in the pool before!! Will have to ask about it..
xxx
Think you are in Leeds.... If your gym is the one on the roundabout opposite Sainsburys then yes they do aqaunatal there!!0 -
Do you need to book? The Westcroft is actually the second nearest aquanatal class I can find to me so just go to work out which is easiest to get to. Does it have car parking?
The lady on the phone said no need to book, and if things havent changed in the past few years then theres lots of parking there and no charge.
Glam - some of the other classes I looked at were around the £6 mark!
Well am in an awful mood and supposed to be off to cinema with friend, hope it gets me out of my funk.Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

Saw the psych today and have agreed to go on a low dose of meds until baby is born to try to take the edge of anxieties. Had a long discussion on pros and cons and it seems to be the right decision. The doc was also careful to choose one that is very unlikely to cause any problems to the baby or to pass into milk, and to give me the lowest dose possible, though obviously nothing is 100% guaranteed to be safe. The fact that I have less than 3 weeks to go though means that the risks are also much less. The biggest downside is that I was told I needed to stop driving until after the baby is born because I am not sleeping well and am exhausted and a side effect of the drugs can be sudden sleepiness so this would not be a good combo. I can't walk very far at the moment due to SPD and general tiredness and this will make the school run a challenge as DS's school is about 2 miles away (though as we live in London transport links are good)
In the meantime I'm trying to think of some nice relaxing treats to schedule to try to help with operation chill out and take my mind off things before the big day. Anyone got any suggestions? I've already got the obvious things like haircut, pedicure, etc on the list but it is looking a bit thin otherwise! Any ideas would be greatfully received.0 -
Glad you got some support from the psych today Nicki. How about a pregnancy massage as part of your pampering? Or maybe a nice exfoliating treatment or something. I know I would love something like that at the moment, and might well treat myself when I go on ML.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0

Niki see if you can get booked in for a good massage or some aromatherapy treatments. Some of the bachs practioners are meant to be good to and can really help to relax you plus they will be able to give you some remedies to keep on you so you can use them to help yourself when you feel you are getting stressed :-) x:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0

Hello all,
Sorry for all the quietness its been really hectic for me.
The visit with the midwife went okay, she`s a bit moody about my stance on blood test and medical intervention and tried to get OH on her side which really annoyed me.
My scary meeting at work has been put off for 2 weeks due to some hoo haa at work so thats fantastic. At least I can have a little less stress for the time being and concentrate on my lovely scan on friday.
Today I had visits from OH`s mum and little sisters and my parents all unarranged which totally threw me off. I don`t like things to chaotic etc. But it was really nice to see them.
OH`s littlest sister is being extremely nasty about the baby. She keeps telling everyone that she is the baby and she doesnt want it. Not exactly her choice but she now refuses to speak to me or look at me or be around me where ever possible which is making things difficult for everyone. Maybe she`ll come around later???
All the stress these last few days is really playing on me, I have really nasty dia woo woo and nothing has stayed down apart from water for 2 days so I feel really weak and horrible. Stress is so not my friend!!!
Sorry for the epic post.

Hey Nicki, not seen ou on here much recently. Really hope the meds take the edge off for you and hopefully that might help with your sleeping too.
As for relaxing I'd suggest trying think of things that you enjoy and doing them. I know that sounds obvious but sometimes it helps to just think about what makes you smile and then just do that.
Glam I was like that yesterday wth OH, everything he did pi55ed me off!! Think I was just having a bad day but he [STRIKE]can be useless sometimes[/STRIKE] is a man after all! :rotfl:
Gymfriend really glad your scan went well!! Sounds like you got some fab pictures too!
Can't remember anyhting else that I haven't already replied to - sorry!
Oh yeah, EA I couldn't see your new house, probably because it's yours now so they've taken it off the website - sounds good though and glad you are happy with it. You can do the same as I did when we moved a few weeks ago - you can coordinate the moving while your OH and helpers DO the moving ha ha ha!!0 -
