Oh i thought my waters had broke whilst i was shopping in town this afternoon, so we rushed back home to ring the hospital to be told - it's probably nothing and the contractions are braxston hicks. I was getting them every 35 minutes and have been since yesterday morning. So to stick a pad in and monitor it for the next few hours. And als there has been nothig since.

We got really excited - DF was rushing round in a right tis.

Right now im fed up - fed up of waiting and fed up of false alrarms, back ache, braxston hicks, and seriously paibful heartburn / indegestion.

Bubs is pushing so far down into my pelvis i cant walk without getting shooting pains down the insides and backs of my legs. Maybe bub's head is now plugging the hole stopping any more fluid leaking out.

Still on the plus side i have only got 1 week to go at the most.

I must be the most impatient person in the world, but with my history i'll be glad when she's her and i can hold her in my arms, knowing everything is OK.
:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T
:T than themselves - you know who you are!

Always - the Carshalton aquanatal is the one I plan on starting next week, so I guess I'll be seeing you there. Any tips you can give me, like should I bring a drink?

Ooh, meet a club lady in the flesh, how strange! And exciting! The main one would be to get there by 6.45 (it starts at 7) as there can sometimes be massive queues at the reception. If you live in Sutton and don't already have a GLL card, get a borough residents card for £30.30 for a year and that reduces the cost from £5.90something to £4.55 which as you can use the card for loads of other things at the leisure centre too so hopefully I'll break even on it! You won't need a drink - most ladies bring a towel and flip flops pool side, although I don't tend to as I have a swim first. We are a lovely friendly bunch too :D

Helen - 7 shifts, how jealous I am of you! I have another 35 working days to go, but at least another 5 antenatal appointments so with traipsing back and forth to the hospital, that'll reduce it! Not that I am counting........

Ooh, and now it's train time, bye for now!

    Afternoon all,

Not long now Princess, enjoy the peace, relax and watch daytime TV :)

EA brilliant news on the house - the countdown begins! Really brilliant that you can decorate too - I've been looking at wall stickers today of jungle animals - loving that theme :)

Congrats on all the engaged babies - it's gonna be so quiet in here once you all move on!

Always - hope all goes well re the job, depending on who you work for chances are it'll only be the start of proceeding even if they did want to sack you. You'll probably be fine so try not to worry about it :)

Had the most wonderful scan ever this morning :) Feel on top of the world, OH has just got home from work so I've shown him all the pics, we have one of the little hands and feet, one of the arm and the finger bones, one of the body with an image of the heartbeat picture (with all the lines going up and down), one of the skull...oooh loads, it was just brilliant :) I'm so relieved the little one is doing alright in there, will be buying my mums friend the best bottle of wine I can find and spending my life indebted to him for putting my mind at rest!

Sadly, OH came home to tell me that a girl he manages has had a mmc today at just past 13 weeks :( It's so heartbreaking, he said he felt absolutely awful having to speak to her as he could just imagine how he'd have felt had it been us, and she's told everyone at work too :( So glad we've kept it quiet up til now though, I can only imagine how hard it will be for her to go back to work.

Ooh on a happy note, went to Ikea today and bought the most lovely little baby quilt, it's called a Fabler something or other, it's a sweet printed baby blue on one side and the other is like a patchwork, it's gorgeous and only £9.99 - I was so close to buying one from M&Ps for £40 so glad I didn't now as this one is gorgeous.

    xxx

Glam, did the rant make you feel better anyway??

i've managed (dont know how) to get DH to move all the bedroom furniture round so he (yes he) could give everywhere a really good clean. all i did was tidy the bathroom (only took 5 mins) then i sat down and waited for him to finish.
he's in asda now buying food for tea -spag bol- and i'm wondering if i can get away with not cooking it...

hahaha - u can't get rid of me that easily! I'll still pop on to check up on u all like Sami and Elle do for us!

Gym - glad ur scan went OK. Was it your 12 week scan?

My nursery is a safari theme - just attached my spare mobile to the end of the changing unit to keep him occupied while I change him but get a feeling it might just annoy the hell out of me!

Jillie - feel a bit better. He says I keep following him around  Don't see how as I was just up in the nursery and he came up and we ended up having an argument. Problem is we aren't getting much space - have gone from both working full-time to both being home full-time. I like to get on with stuff whereas he likes to do a little bit at a time.
    We'll get there eventually!

£4.70 for a class  That's well expensive!
