Morning everyone (just)
I`m really freaking out, I had a phone call late yesterday from the community midwife asking to see me today for a booking in appointment at 12.30
I agreed and OH should be arriving at any moment to be here with me as I terrible in unknown situations etc. What happens at your first appointment???
Is it all just questions and forms or is going to fight with me about needles??? My OH has briefly explained and had it added to my notes that I will agree to one blood test in the middle of my pregnancy but nothing else invasive but I`m so frightened.
What if she takes one look at us and thinks we`d be terrible parents.

Don't panic fish cake they can't force you to have the blood tests if you don't want them but they will probably advice you that they are good for medical reasons. You are within your rights to refuse though, they need your permission.[STRIKE]Little bump 3 on it's way[/STRIKE]:j

Its kinda hard to explain but its not the needles I`m scared off but the fact that I`m having a piece of my body taken away if you get me.
And vaccinations, I`ve refused them all since I was 15 after I found that many contain chick fetus tissue and some even human fetal tissue. Also the fact that I can't ever remove it from my body that it is a permanent addition to my blood etc. Its all very weird I know Sorry.

Morning everyone just have to share this with you all:D
Was moving my Doppler around my belly trying to find where was best for the HB and i swear baby was not pleased i felt it move my little bump like it turned and i actually heard a kind of sloshing sound through the Doppler. I'm loving the Doppler.
Who was asking about the gel? Have heard some people say they use baby oil don't know if it's the ordinary oil or Gel one though HTH[STRIKE]Little bump 3 on it's way[/STRIKE]:j
