Should taste fine with custard - make it nice and thick!

Bear if you've still got a cough I find a teaspoon of honey can really calm it down. I remember having a horrid cough when I was TTC and I refused to take anything in case I was pregnant and it was so much worse than when you can dose yourself up.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0

thanks for the ankle-swelling tips, ladies! Not sure if Epsom salts are supposed to work straight away or overnight or something, but it didn't seem to have any immediate effect. Hopefully they will look better by the morning, but I definitely not wearing a skirt tomorrow, lol!top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

I get a saucepan, boil the water, put a few good slices of lemon in and leave to brew. Pour into a mug and add a big spoonful of honey - perfect!
Tend to drink one everyday in the winter to beat sniffles and it tastes fab!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Evening ladies and bumps,
Congrats to Fitz on the birth of baby Alfie! Hope you are looking after yourself.
Hugs to Nikki, Gemma, Beenie and anyone else feeling down, stressed or in pain.
Welcome back Aless. Shame you have to go back to work tomorrow. I have had bad swelling in my ankles and the only thing that helps is putting my legs up (meant to have them higher than your heart level).
Spent the day wandering around the shops with my mum and MIL and went for lunch. It was ok, but a bit awkward as the conversation doesn't flow quite as well when walking round shops, and no-one wanted to look for anything in particular so I felt like it was all a bit aimless! Never mind, I got through it. Bought some sheets for the cotbed but that was about all.
Got to mid afternoon and had to bail out as my pelvis was seizing up and I could hardly straighten myself. This seems to be happening every time I have been sitting down (like when I get out of the car). I feel like a 90 year old woman. So glad I am not at work anymore. I haven't had a problem with mobility up until now!
Please skip if you are having your tea (TMI question/issue):
My bottom is really red raw. It's very sore and difficult to wipe when I go to the loo! Can you get thrush at your bottom rather than vaginal thrush? I am so embarrassed!!! Don't laugh at this bit ladies....I have put Sudocrem on it to see if it will help! Any ideas?

I've had this, sudocrem should do the trick or E45 or some sort of aqueous cream - slather it on. Try to let the air get to it overnight, don't wear pants or pj bottoms.
Hopefully be gone by tomorrow. Also avoid sitting - lie on your side.

Thanks Bear! I am not sure if it's just because I am going to the toilet so often that I have irritated the skin or something but it's flaming stinging. Fingers crossed it clears up by tomorrow then. Glad I am not alone! ha ha.

Fitzio - I've been getting that for the last few days along with dia woo woo or thought it might be from excessive wiping. DId think it could the be the start of piles.
Am sure any soothing cream or antiseptic cream would soothe it - you got a rubber ring?!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
