Defo true!! Had breakfast at 9am as usual this morning then I made myself Spag Bol at 11.30am!! Ate a dinner sized portion then went to bed for 2 hrs, got up, had crisps and a bar of chocolate. Am now just waiting on my tea to cook. Salmon with creamy leek sauce yum!
Have half changed our bed, CBA to put the clean duvet on so its just sitting there waiting, thought about getting the hoover out but never really got round to it:rotfl:0 -

Burning Clean Cotton at the moment and it is lovely - just like fresh washing. Can recommend them, they have some in Clintons card shop in town if you want to sniff before you buy. Can also get them at giftedonlineshop.co.uk. they often have good deals and free postage over £10 but you won't be able to smell them first. Really do smell like their names though.

the 16 week bloods are for the triple or quadriple test - this is different to the Nuchal Scan.
Nuchal Scan looks for downs markers in the spine and nasal bone and the bloods are much more specific than the ones taken at 16 weeks - I think they are something like over 90% accurate.
The tests done at 16 weeks are just blood markers and are about 60% accurate.
I didn't have the 16 week bloods as they don't advise it if you have the Nuchal Scan - our risk came back at 1 in 10,000.
I really don't think you were meant to have had it - might be worth a call to MW. There are more hospitals that DON'T offer it than ones that do IYSWIM
HTH
Yeah I think you are right, I just went for lunch with my mates and one of them had a baby just over a year ago, and she doesnt remember having the Nuchal scan, but she remembers having a downs syndrome blood test at 16 weeks, so my hospital musnt do it?
But thats what confused me was I am sure I read in a booklet from midwife lol saying they use the data from scan with the bloods to get your risk factor?
I might ring the midwife tomorrow just to check?
Fishcake - it might be different where you work but where I am they like to see you every 6 weeks?
Thanks Beenie - we musn't get it up here lol. Im fine now, I just wanted to make sure I wasnt missing out on anything I should be having.
On the veet front, might sound weird lol but can you sit with a mirror in front of you?? so you can see?

Hi all, I have just been catching up, shouldve made notes... but can remember a big congrats to Fitz!!
Well me and DH are down in Cornwall on our 3 nite break, absolutely gorge b&b we are staying in, very impressed and very helpful owners, even down to having decaf tea, yey!! We have been having a lazy afternoon but going to go out for an Indian tonight, mmm!!
We were in a shop earlier this morning and lovely lady asked when my due date was and chatted for ages about being pregnant and having kids, she was lovely. I was chuffed as its the first proper person to ask outright about due date, Im 29+5 and dont think I show that much, especially when in not tight tops, but I did have a tight t-shirt on today so thats what must've done it
Ooh yes I also meant to say that I survived my sis in law to be's hen do I went to on Saturday night too!! The meal was lovely and the party on the fire engines was great fun, stayed out at the bar we went to until about 11.45pm and by then I was really feeling like I wanted to come home. So got home about 1.15am in the end!! Felt knackered but really glad I wentThink that will be my last night out now whilst pregnant (bar their wedding at the end of September) as I just cant hack it anymore!!

Gisi if your still around which glider did you go for? Ive been thinking about one for nursing belly monkey but the way my hips and back are at the minute I thought getting it early so I can start using it now might be good.
I made the mistake of sitting in a rocker at Ikea yesterday and my mum had to hoist me out! I was begging my dad to push me round on a flat bed trolley by the end as I could barely walk. (He refused, meenie!)Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0 -
