  • I love that Made with Love range, gymfiend, so cute! I would never pay that for something that will get thrown up on and peed on but I would be very chuffed to receive it as a gift! I think that about lots of stuff- I need to start telling people!

OMG I am so bad- tonight I have spent £30 on Blooming Marvellous, £8 on eBay and £21 on Amazon- all baby related stuff but not very MSE. I am very naughty when OH is at work.

well i'll tell you's that your experiances have all been very differant to mine. With DD i had a c/sec and was never asked about b/f all i got was baby is hungry what formula are you using. no offer to express milk nothing found out later about milk banks and was not pleased as i actually wanted to try b/f.

With DS I did but the level of my knowledge for B/F thanks to getting moved of antenatal classes for FTM's was nil(never got any with DD either). On the ward when i asked for the third time with a screaming baby for help the MW's grand total of help was telling me whilst i was standing to just put the baby at the breast he'll figure it out.

By the time i got a HV at home my nipples where beyond help because i hadn't been doing it right, persevered for a week in the hope i could but to no avail. Cue OH driving 30mile round trip at 2 am for formula.lol

This time i don't care if the queen needs my place on antenatal i am going :D

I can hardly believe it time has flown but i have just had my email come through from babycenter with my 24 week update. The baby is viabel this saturday. Hubby is trying to book a 4d scan for in a few weeks. I have tons of clothes i could almost open up my own shop. There not all new alot are from ds. I have a bit of a small wish list and would love to receive some different gifts other than clothes but i can hardly say that to people can i?

    wish list
A travel grobag so that baby can wear it in the car as we do lots of traveling to family
A cot top changer or changing unit as having a section ( i have just asked on freecycle)
    A baby bath /chair/support
A pram toy that winds around handle / toy arch
mamas and papas snuggle like gymfriend linked to, i saw one much cheaper some where and wish i had got it now.
    This is my signature!

  • 32b - while I remember... Our council has a scheme where the distribute free "trial" packs of real nappies - I don't know anything about what you get yet - waiting for someone to call me back

I found the info on our councils website in the waste/recycling section! I think it is part of the real nappy campaign - might be worth googling it? or searching within your councils website. Sorry I can't find the link for the national page.

Has anyone got any tips for not rolling onto your tum in th enight? I am trying to use a normal pillow as a barrier but end up with it on the floor and laying on my tum and waking up feeling a bit bruised, can't wait til I am too bbig to roll over as I am not quite there yet, but its uncomfortable if I do. Lidl don't have any pillows near me as all sold out, a friend has recommended the v shape pillows, so not sure if that would dbe worth a try

Sorry about the typing I think i'm more tired then i realisd!

I used a normal pillow between my legs for a while but too be honest I don't think it matters that much if you roll onto your tummy when you tummy is still small enough that you can, baby is well protected inside. I just have problems trying not to sleep on my back - I always wake up on my back.

I did think that actually, that we are probably bidding against each other!

Just won these . So cute!!!

Also, you shouldn't avoid Blooming Marvellous- the prices are fab. I got a couple of maternity T-shirts for £2 each. They'll prob go for that on eBay once I'm done with them. I also got a swimsuit for £5 which will definitely go for more.

Helen- I've only seen the MW at 8, 16, 22 and 30 weeks so not very often even though it's my first!

Yeah I hope we weren't bidding against each other!

I'm only avoiding BM cos I need to avoid any kind of spending now after spending £77 on ASOS earlier and about £25 all together on ebay today.

All good buys and will be useful but more than I planned on spending today at work!

Saying that, I did also get a tv unit and pc desk off freecycle today which OH is picking up as we speak :)

Gemma I get the same thing. I find it most comfortable sleeping on my tummy normally and now I am trying to sleep on my side with my lidl body pillow, but still waking up on my front and my bump aches a bit. PLus I get all those red creases from the fabric of the pillow and my pjs on my bump and it looks horrible!!

Oh, forgot to mention had my hair cut today and I'm very pleased with it! It's a very short pixie type cut and will be lovely for the wedding! Yey!

Thank you for thinking of me but i have checked ~(several times) but they do nothing here for the nappies very disappointing indeed. Their is a local club thing close by that i heard may help with costs but not until you are late in pregnancy. so i have a while to wait lol
