Princess butterbee hope you get clarity on the situation soon, nothing worse than confusing limbo lol

I'm off for a quick bath so I'm ready for sis in the morning without getting harassed trying to do my hair in the morning. Not that DD would let me in the bathroom long enough to wash it(mmm considers bucket in the kitchen sink:rolleyes:)lol

Hope i sleep, you'd think it were me going in for the appointment swear i have butterflies. here's hoping we finally get some help.

Night all vibes to all that need them.

I'm sure someone posted the other day that a friend thought she kept getting negs but they were actually positives!!!
It was me, three weeks worth of positive tests and she still hadn't read the instructions! What do people do when waiting on the result, i read the instructions over and over and over and well you get the picture lol

OK, been upstairs to count and I have 81 Size 1 Pampers and 105 Size 2 Pampers. Plus whatever is in the Huggies starter kit and a few odd samples. I have loads of vouchers for Babies R Us, Tesco, Pampers etc so will probably get more. I didn't realise that 100+ would only be a few packets. I think in my mind I was picturing about 20-30 packets spilling out of your wardrobes!! Don't know what I was thinking really.

Glam - I have been taking stuff out of my bag as it seemed so full! Had a full pack of nappies, and now down to 10 nappies. Also put 2 pairs of PJs back in my drawer so down to 1 PJs, 2 nightdresses and 1 nightdress for giving birth. I should probably pack a spare back for the car too just in case. Couldn't rely on DH to know where to find stuff if he had to bring stuff in!

In baby's bag (the Boots changing bag) I have 10 nappies (they give us 5 when baby is born and supply cotton wool), some wiped (just in case) and clothes.

Hopalong and Aylesbury girl are almost 2 weeks over as well - god, I'll be top of the list before I know it

Hopalong is inactive, could probs be moved to the bottom now, Aylesbury seems to still be visiting the boards but lurking

On the BF question, I don't think anyone should ever feel guilty for their choices. A happy baby needs a happy mummy is my motto and you need to do what is right for you.

Just to add though that even if you only breastfeed for the first month or so your baby will still get lots of the most important antibodies from your milk during that time. Not trying to put pressure on you, but thought you might like to know.

I definitely want to give BF a go, but won't beat myself up if it doesn't work out for us.

I totally agree with you. I had C section with Lo but couldnt breastfeed straightaway and he had formula. I tried for around 6 weeks to BF mostly through putting a bottle teat on the boob as it was the only way he would take milk. Finally I gave up after being constipated (sorry TMI) for a week and struggling to BF enough was enough but at least he had 6 weeks and after I change we were all sooo much happier!!!
Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.
