Right, am now thinking about this after pain bit. This is my second baby and i am told that they can be quite bad adn i'm a wimp. Don't remember having any with my first, but not sure if that was due to already being given pain relief, due to C-section. Can any one who had a sC-Section with their second child please advise if they got these quite bad. I am thinking i may need to get some co-codamol in for when i get home.
Will also ask on the parent thread. Thanks
Did you see the dressing gownI linked to for Glam here? "I'm liking this one". It looks nice and lightweight.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -

hi guys
just a quick note before i read back through the prev posts
things went ok at hospital. saw yet another dr!!!
explained my history re BP again....
so have to see midwife twice a week for BP and urine checks and back to hospital in 2 weeks for my 38 week appointment
said at the moment they are happy for me to have a 'normal' birth and will only need to do a c-section in emergency ie my BP goes through roof or they need to get baby out quickly. no plans as yet for induction as my BP can raise suddenly. asked when i need to call delivery suite as with my BP if i panic or work myself up it will rise so the dr said to call delivery suite when i start labour(contractions) and they will advise. it may mean going in early or they maybe happy for a mw to call to house first.
so somewhat sorted. and best of all i'm at home!! just need to rest and take things easy'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -

Nancat i get paid as per normal to just at the adjusted rate for mat leave. cant understand why they want to pay you like that most companys want to hold on to the money for as long as possible before they have to pay you. hope you get it sorted anyway :-) x

You can go to the main group to see all the listings, or if you have your email notification set up to recieve emails as they come through you will get them as they come, i would advise you to do the latter the quicker you apply for things the more likely you are to get them
Also remember your pleases and thank yous and give a reason as to why you want the item, and let them know when you are available to collect.
I know a lot of people that dont like others giving phone numbers in your initial email and i know some people delete these requests if they contain a phone number as they find it abit rude
When i usually apply for things it usually goes along the lines of:
Hi X,
I would be really interested in item X if you still have it available. My baby is due on xmas day as you can imagine the most expensive time of the year already so im trying to keep the cost down as much as possible. If you would please consider me for this item i would really appreciate it. I can collect at a time to suit you. Many Thanks.
Kind Regards
