  • Right, just thinking about packing my hospital bag as I am 30 weeks tomorrow . Does anyone else think there is a real gap in the market for well priced, dark coloured nightwear, suitable for BFing. There's tons of pastel stuff at places like Matalan but I wanted something that won't show up leaks too badly :o. A nice navy blue light-weight dressing gown or something would be good. I have found some black PJ bottoms in Asda which were very :money:.

SJ i think we need to see this bump ;) I had no sign of a bump at 15 weeks! It's only just becoming obvious now at 24, but cos i'm a bit chubby i think i'm still at a stage where strangers might not risk asking me just in case it's fat LOL. My friend said it deffo looks like a bump but she would!

Lol @ EA that's crazy, were they stalking you? I can't believe they knew you sold it on eBay.
Hi Beenie, I noticed while reading through that you'd posted on the thread about kids ear piercings, as I've mentioned a subject that really riles me so had to read it (and post lol).

Yes i hate it too :o Shame the thread got closed it was quite a good debate lol.

I bought a couple of nice dark coloured breastfeeding nighties on ebay for not very much money (brand new but with the shop labels cut out). One was in black and the other in teal green. It took a few weeks of watching and bidding but am fairly sure I got them both for under a fiver each. If you have time that might be an option?

No problem, I was think about getting OH to take another pic as it's been almost 3 weeks since the last one! I'll see if I can get one on here later on tonight when I get home.

Didn't see the ear piercing thread - bet that got a bit heated!!

My boss says I have a bump I was like thanks you saying I look fat lol

At least he called it a bump! My boss said to me about 2 or 3 weeks ago that I had developed a "paunch". I can tell you that didn't go down too well with me
  • Congratulations Chasing Butterflies! Sounds like you had a great experience. I'm looking to have a HB so look forward to your birth story and pics of course :)

Kindof and EA wow not long til your scans! I loved my 12 (13) week scan! Even though I'd had 2 early scans it was so so good to see a real baby shaped thing in there!!

Xmas lovely bump! Doesn't look square to me either.

There's a lady at my work who is due in November so who is 3 months ahead of me, and her bump is the same size as mine!!! Not sure if I'm big or she's small or if it's a bit of both!

I had a bump at 16 weeks, and it was very obvious from about 20 weeks I'd say. There's no mistaking it now though!

ML- If you're about I had to take a pic for you of a couple of the baby grows I was given at the weekend-

I'm just getting mine paid as I would normally pay- ie. Holiday pay for weeks one and two, full pay for next six weeks, then 33 weeks at SMP. I get paid fortnightly anyway, so will just get two weeks at a time at the appropriate rate. Wonder why yours is done in lump sums? Seems a bit strange and you'll need to make sure that it is taxed correctly.

I thought they couldn't make you start ML until four weeks before EDD....might be wrong on that though . Does anyone know?

Yea I'm sure that's right. It will probably be on driect gov website!

Let me know if you find a lightweight dressing gown anywhere - all I can find is think towelling robes!

Well, you can now actually see the floor in nursery :j
My canvas storage things fit perfectly in the wardrobe so later on I will put the baby clothes away. We have managed to put stuff away and it just looks soooooooooooooooo much better!!
I am really breathless today so OH has me sitting on a beanbag directing him, I feel bad cos I want to help but can't do much!

OH didn't get much sleep as I was snoring again :o I think he finally fell asleep at 2am! Oops. :rotfl:

Som - I am taking the 39 weeks maternity leave (started at 34 weeks) and will then tag on bank holidays and be paid for all my outstanding leave. I'm returning to work on 31st May 2010 - unless OH hasn't got a job by then and I will go back 1st April.

Xmas - I wouldn't say your bump is square! I'll post my bump pic later on

    36 weeks today :T:j

Not seen harley much recently and hope Jillie is OK
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?
