I know she is not helping herself but theirs is no telling them that. They depend on her wage so i can't just leave them to it. will let her know about the doctors one. Thanks
Is their a minimum time of employment for ssp?xmaslolly76 wrote: »Right if she is having time off with stress especially due to bullying then tell her to get down the doctors he will sign her off straight away and it will be on record as proof for her case as well. :-)[STRIKE]Little bump 3 on it's way[/STRIKE]:j

Hi confuzzled! Hope you manage to get on here soon. It's nice that people are lurking here the way we all do on the Parent's thread! ha ha. It's like the next step up.
Well, I was making dinner and got myself really stressed as the gravy didn't look right, the turnip was taking ages to boil and the washing was taking ages to dry. Ended up in tears and shouting at DH. Completely irrational and don't know what came over me. I think I just felt I was getting really stressed over stupid things and it was my first day of leave so I shouldn't have so much pressure, although it is all my own doing! :rolleyes:
OH calmed me down eventually, and then after dinner I had the really bad pain at the top of my bump/ribs again. It lasted about 15 mins. I eventually managed to make myself sick and it seemed to help. Thinking that it must be some sort of indigestion as it has always happened in the evening after dinner. And my heartburn was bad today. Will need to try and be careful with portions when I notice heartburn has been playing up. I know it doesn't sound like much, but it's flaming agony!
Sorry, sound like I am whinging. Just like to mention these things in case anyone else suffers the same.0 -

First time on today and loads to catch up so apologies if I've missed anything big. I am so shattered today as well, so will be off to bed soon
Sorry to Helen re your friend.
Fitzio - I had gallstones when I was younger (have gall bladder removed now) and to be honest it doesn't sound much like you describe. Gallstone pain is excruciating (worse than labour) and when I had it they had me in hospital on a morphine drip. It feels like someone has put a hand in the centre of your chest, grabbed your gall bladder and twisted it hard and not let go. It lasts for a long time, and is triggered by eating foods high in fat. I have been having a horrible burning pain at the top of my bump though this pregnancy - not acid heartburn, but a pain like a scar being ripped in two or a muscle stretched beyond all endurance. That is apparently caused by the uterus stretching in an unusual way and part and parcel of late pregnancy.
Kindofgirl - I'm 34+3 at the moment.
Fitzilian - it is possible for the bump to go up and down if the baby isn't actually engaged, but I don't think its all that common, and that hasn't been my experience in my previous pregnancies. That being said, I can tell this one is still breach so its unlikely to be engaged, unless its another footling and one or both feet has got stuck.
Phew - hope that's everyone. Off to bed now!0 -

Hello ladies, sorry I havent been posting. I have been lurking and trying to keep up but havent had anything to post. Also got my parents stopping and as much as I love and miss them when their away its weird having them in my house all the time (Ive just told them off about not doing any washing up yet I feel like the naughty kid
)
Huge hugs to everyone in need, Helen it must be an awful situation with your friend. Your a very good mate for being so supportive especially as it must be so difficult yourself being 8 months pregnant and with all thats going on with your dad.
Welcome to any newbies too, Im sure I saw some but cant remember who sorry
Me and bump are doing good, I overdid it at the carboot yesterday and could barely walk back to the car my hips were so sore! But I got lots of bargains so made it all worthwhile including a bumbo seat for £2.50, a bruin bouncer (incase she hates the mamas & papas swing Ive already bought!) for £8, loads of designer clothes and shoes all for pence and steal of the day was a full set of OneLife nappies with the bucket, wash powder, liners, boosters etc for £8 and their brand new :j They bought them intending to use them and just never started, some of them are still in packets and their £295 to buy new :eek:
Labour vibes to those who want them, sticky bean vibes for those at the start of the journey and easy going pregnancy vibes for everyone else(and apologies for such a rambling long post!)
Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0
