Thank you guys . I feel better now for talking it over with OH. No chance my store will be closed down, just that it won't be looked after as well as I had hoped!
Fitzio- Yep, I have a Drs apt about my hips tomorrow am so will see how that goes. I definitely won't hesitate to get signed off if that's what he recommends.
Pookie- that sucks about your BP. I think you are due a week or so after me, in which case they can't make you start your ML until 4 weeks before your due date so you can just be off sick for now (as long as you get sick pay, of course).:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Cheers GISI I work for the nhs so will get full sick pay will just call this my "unofficial" maternity leave as I could technically go on proper ml on wednesday when I will be 29 weeks!!Coming soon............

Obviously it's up to you, Pookie, but I don't see any point using up ML now when you could save it till after Bubs is born! Hope you get the chance to rest up to try and help your BP.
Sorry 32B, not too sure how it works.
Back in a bit- OH is taking me for a [STRIKE]walk[/STRIKE] waddle in the fresh air as it is a beautiful evening here.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -

If they require a self cert then they should supply them the manager/direct senior should be able to sort one out for her. The doctor wont supply a cert until she has been off for 7 days unless she pays for it. Is she sure the compay will require one ?:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0

You used to be able to get a self-certificate form from the Jobcentre dunno if thats still the case though. Doctor probably won't give one as it's under 3days and not needed by law or something. Failing that print out this link http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/forms/sc2.pdf I just googled. Didn't know you could print them off!!!!
Hope alls well with everyone xx
*steps back into the shadows hoping and praying for a bfp*
