Apparently her baby looks like a sumo wrestler as they are so bulky (although to be fair, he's a big baby anyway)!.

This has been worrying me a bit as even though Ive now got 4 different brands of nappies they all look massive! I already call the belly monkey fatty fat bum because the nappies are so big, Im wondering how the clothes are going to fit over them

Has anyone else had much luck getting baby bits off of freecycle?

Im just over 22 weeks and have so far managed to get near enough everything that i need apart from the odd few bits from freecycle and so far i havent spent a penny it has saved me an absolute fortune!! :j

If you havent had a look and dont mind using second hand (although some of the stuff that i have managed to get has been brand new) freecycle is definatly worth keeping an eye on :j

    Honestly do keep trying!!

Just today alone i have picked up a baby bath, top and tail bowl, a baby bath seat, 3x black bags full of clothes, a brand new boxed steriliser, a brand new boxed breast pump, a nappy bin, a swing and a travel cot!!

Tomorrow i have to pick up a bag full of baby rattles, a baby toiletries box and a brand new stage 1 car seat still sealed in its box! It was apparently given to the woman as a present but she had already brought one herself and decided not to use it and it has been sat in the cupboard under her stairs and her LO is now to big for it to be any use!! :j

Last week i managed to get a moses basket, a swinging crib, 2x black bags of baby clothes, a baby gym, a galt playnest and a baby bouncer!! :j

It really is worth keep perservering if i had brought all of the above it would have cost me a fortune!!

Freecycle is ok, it does depend on whats on offer.

Before i got banned (:p) i got quite a bit from there, including a tesco carrier bag full of avent baby bottles. I dont even need them now so i'll stick them back on once they have approved OH's membership :D

Its annoying when the giver sends you an email at like 3pm asking you to come around for about 5pm and i dont get the email cause im at work

Oooh OH should be home soon! Finally, he can get rid of the new dead flys that have dropped on the kitchen windowsil. Ergh i hate flys.

    Night Night xx

Im not actually in Manchester anymore i have moved back down to essex recently have just forgot to update my profile :o

i actually found the manchester, salford and bolton freecycles to be pretty rubbish :( and ended up giving up with them

I would encourage you all to definatly keep your eyes open on them though you never know what you might find and be lucky enough to get!

I dont know whether it helps that recently i have offered a lot of stuff on there that people are recognising my name or not (previous tenant left loads of bits here furniture and smaller items and the landlord told me to do what i wanted with them so i chucked most of it on freecycle!) I do know that i have been really lucky with it though. :j
