Afternoon!
Helen- so sorry to hear about your friend . I can't imagine what the family must be going through, but I'm sure it's a help that you are there for them. No advice on your dad other than stand your ground. Him getting his own place does seem like the best option.
Jenny- nice to see you back and glad you had a nice break.
Fitzio- I'm worried I'm going to develop a (worse) shopping habit when on ML. I will have to be so strict with myself! I hardly have anything left to buy, really.
Had a monumentally bad day at work. My idea of what will happen when I am off and other people's seems to be quite different. I have a feeling my store, that I have worked my butt off to ensure it will okay without me, is going to be properly stitched up! My BP just so doesn't need this at the moment.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -

Hey ladies just popped to asda for some retail therapy and they are selling off all the gold jewellery at half price ive bagged a lovely little White gold bracelet and a white and yellow gold ring with diamonds for £35. Not sure if its a local thing woman would only say that they arent selling any gold as people are buying costume jewellery instead. May be worth checking your local store :-):jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0

GISI - sorry you had a rubbish day. It is rubbish when you have put a lot of work into doing a good job, but someone is going to undo it when you are off. How long are you going to be off for? At least you will have other things to think about when you are on leave - deal with the shop when you get back (and it will be a lower priority by then anyway). Unless you think they are shutting it down or something?!
Did you manage to get a doctors appointment?0 -
Hi all
Just back from my gp bp 181/101 got given my methyldopa and had to argue not to be admitted to hospital. Did not need to ask about being signed off work he just got out his pad and did it there and then. So even though I am technically on holiday this week I guess my ml starts here.
Got home and had an arguement with dd, her friends mum is going to the leisure centre to play badmington and wanted to take dd and her own daughter and let them go swimming with no adult supervision (they are both only 10 !!!!!!). DD called me controlling and said "i wish you loved me less" but she then calmed down and apologised. Feel crap now hate arguements but seriously am I too controlling, would you have let them go??Coming soon............

Gisi hopefully they will listen to you before you leave if not just relax at the end of the day if they dont run the shop as well A: its not your fault and B: it will just make you look twice as good as you all ready do :-) x:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0 -

Well i live in a block of 100+ flats and we all have the same postcode.
So if a stalker came to find me they would have to knock every door and say something like "Do you use MSE under the name of Evansangel?"
And if that DID happen i would prob punch the person that said it and run away :rotfl:0 -
GISI- Go to your gp if you have not been already and tell them that you are under stress at work, you are right neither your bp, you or your baby needs this right now.
Xmas- did you really need a bracelet?? I hope its to put away for someones xmas present lol.
Helen- No advice I don't know what I would do in your situation but hugs to you and your ds and oh.Coming soon............

pookie sorry about your blood pressure fingers crossed it improves for you.
As for your daughter I let my 11 yr old go swimming with her friends but an adult has to take them and pick them up. They are all relatively good swimmers though so it would depend on what level your daughter is if she isnt a very strong swimmer then it would be best if an adult was with them. :-) x:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0
