Thanks jillie1974 that's what i thought but wasn't sure can you get the tour without going to the other weeks. i assume not. seems a waste to take up a space when all i'm really interested in is the hospital visit.[STRIKE]Little bump 3 on it's way[/STRIKE]:j

when the mw was mentioning the tour she asked if we were all going to the same hospital, 2 ladies were going to others so she told them to ring the delivery unit and book on a tour themselves. so it maybe worth doing that if you dont need to attend the other classes.'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
Hiya, just gonna try catch up, I was lurking abit last night but as you know I wasn't in a mood to post much.
Well, this morning I,m still feeling much the same but me and OH have decided when he comes back with my daughter next weekend we will sit him down and try disscuss everything. calmly. I can't carry on like this.
OH has just come back from seeing bank manager and she has thrown a glimmer of hope into the situation..she says we can raise 50k on the mortgage to buy my dad out of the house COMPLETLEY (he sold us the house cheaper..this is what we 'owe' in a sense. If he goes for it,great,it may change his way of thinking when he's here..that its OUR house NOT his and he can't continue doing the things he's doing. Also it will be ideal chance for me to suggest he use the 50k payout,..put it toward the money he already got when we bought the house and buy himself a little place of his own, maybe over in Leeds near all his family so we all have our own space. If he doesn't go for it...then it will all kick off...!!
Ive got my 4d re-scan at 2pm!! Please send my little man anit shyness vibes!!!love my little man he is amazing :j0 -
I am 22 week today and huge! maybe just on a bit of a downer after being ill but put a top on today and i swear i look like i am wearing a tent. I looked around locally in the shops yesterday and nothing we don't have any shops that sell maternity clothes not even in the next town along which has tons of high street shops. locally the shops are aimed at teenagers. We have a tiny newlook and a tiny peacocks that's all but no maternity and nothing above a size 14.
I will check out boohoo thanks. This is my signature!0 -

to top it off how carp i am feeling hubby just had a go at me when i asked if we could nip out to to another town this pm to see if i could get something. He went off on one about how i have tons of clothes and that he bought me a load of maternity clothes not long ago. But they were just jeans and a top. He was really mardy about it and it had really upset me. First he was going on about how many clothes i have then pulled the whole oh do what ever you want card out. He has gone out with ds now and told me to go to the shops while they are out so they don't have to go with me, i said i wasn't going to go on my own and he went off at me again, he kept saying just go you are making me really mad. Now i don't know if i should go or stay. If i go and get stuff he will be mardy and if he gets back and i haven't been he will be mad thinking i am being mardy. i can't win. We never row so it has really upset me i don't know whats wrong with him he is snapping at ds too. This is my signature!0

Elastigirl, I would say if you really need the clothes just go. In my opinion it's better to be practical and deal with the consequences than give in and suffer with arguments and no clothes. Hopefully he will snap out of his mood soon.

Elasti - what about this dress from New Look? You could order it online as it would probably be here before next weekend. I bought it for a wedding I went to, but took it back. It was actually really nice, and I was tempted to keep it, but my ankles are so swollen that I would never wear it. It's nice, but plain enough to not draw too much attention and be over dressy.
Helen - anti shyness vibes to you and your baby. Hope the scan goes well. x
Three - we start Parentcraft classes next Tuesday, and it's 4 x 2 hour sessions. I asked midwife, and they don't do a tour of the hospital at all. So it must be different in different areas. Might be worth asking if they do it in your area if you haven't already (just been skim reading today). x0 -
Why do the health authorities make everything so complicated they should standardise the parent craft classes so everyone gets the same regardless of where they are. How on earth they can expect a new mother to be relaxed when going into labor when they dont do a tour of the maternity unit is beyond me.:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0
