Thanks fitzio i'm going to ask. Got loads of questions when i actually get an appointment to see someone. Still not happy at not being seen by anyone. How on earth can they justify not even doing a pregnancy test and going by what someone say's on the phone. at the very least i expected blood pressure etc to be done. Think i just feel abandoned. considering that the early stages of pregnancy carry so many risks they are leaving women vulnerable to complications that could be picked up early not being detected untill the last minute when they are more serious.

Think i am in a bad mood today:rotfl:blame the paint fumes.

I don't think so, I had a bit of a mad moment on Wed night going through my present stash and sorting out 11 christmas and birthday presents, I only need to get another 3 people (all men) and I'm done. Did contemplate wrapping them up, but drew the line at that. I think I was trying to avoid the hoovering though so that may be why I was doing such random things!

You've made me think I should go through my present stash to see what I still need to get. I'm aiming to get most of it done for bubs arrives so I don't have to stress about it with a newborn.

I think everyone feels like this at first. You feel a bit in limbo as all you have to show for your pregnancy is a line on a stick. I do understand why doctors don't bother with a test as the HPTs are so accurate, but like you say it would be nice to have some acknowledgement of something which is so important to you and your family.

SS- lovely to see you on here and glad that Molly is doing so well.

Helen- hope you had more success at the 4d- too late for vibes but looking forward to pics if you have any :D

Three i know exactly how you feel chick about not being seen it does seem stupid that they dont even do an initiall check up. I must say though that with all three pregancys they have never done a test for me just took my word but with the other two bubs the doctor did have a feel of my tummy and confirmed i was preganant that way. If it wasnt for the fact that i insisted on being seen this time due to the ectopic i had last year i doubt they would have bothered until i was around the 10wk stage.

The ectopic last year really got me as the doctors tried to fob me off with the bleeding was just bedding in but i knew something wasnt right and evetually got refered to the early pregnancy unit. Even after the op the hospital was useless they gave me a bag of tablets and never even told me how to look after my wound just sent me packing i ended up at the doctors surgery two days later in tears as i didnt know if i could even have a bath with the stiches or if i needed them removed ( turned out they were soluble).

All the care seems to have gone out the window these days they dont take into account that women are frightened and need information alot seem to just think we are being pains in the backside.
    Anyway winge over :-) x

    I am cream crackered!

Ended up in spare room at 5am due to my horrendous snoring!

Went shopping and now I just wanna curl up and sleep. I might have a nap I think.

Got 5 boxes of the Johnson breast pads from Poundland as figured they were a bargain (just hope I can use them!), got my maternity knickers and a few toiletries. Also got 3 cellular blankets in B&M - they were £2 each! :money:
Figured 1 for moses basket, 1 for pram and a spare - plus they only had 3 left! I also got 2 fitted sheets for the pram for £1 but when I've checked the pram you can't actually fit sheets to it!

Plan to take the M&S stuff back on Monday and am also goign to return the hooded towels from Mothercare - I already have some and I now need to buy the moses basket mattress from there. I have measured it and the gap each side would be quite big if I got the ebay one, so if I can get the £12 back for the towels I'll put it towards the mattress.

Where does the time go?

Well i went out shopping for what is was worth. Bought some stuff but it looks like it is all going back they didn't have anything above a 16 any where. I got this as an added summer dress in a 16 and it doesn't lok too bad but i'm not sure. The problem is i have 2 bumps really :rotfl:i have a bump at the top mw said it's mainly the placenta as is anterior, then i have a bump at the bottom but they haven't filled out inbetween so it just looks like 2 spare tyres at the mo.

Nice dress Fitzio thanks but out of stock in an 18 and i think the one from adsa only fits as it it really stretchy.
i bought some leggings in the hope i could wear them with a long top i already have but they look awful i so can not pull off legging no one wants to see my tree trunks. So I'm still no nearer getting something. Sod it mat jeans and a nice top will have to do.

    Hi all :hello:

Firstly, i just had an Orange, and now im happy. I usually hate them but this morning had an urge to eat one. So i bought some and now i feel :D:rotfl:
I wanted to eat the orange peel to as it smells so good! But i have stopped myself.

Secondly, i am ill! :( Over night i have developed an illness, my head is all heavy and i have a headache and sore throat and i keep getting dizzy and i feel so rough. Its typical this would happen to me on my first weekend off work in ages

OH went to greggs for me to get a me chicken club baguette as i have only had coco pops today, it was lovely!

Being 10weeks i want to try out my doppler again, but im afriad incase i dont hear anything :rotfl: i might just leave it until i have the scan.
Though i did use it on my younger siblings hearts to show them there heartbeats, they thought it was amazing! :p

Also OH earlier said its bad if i eat to much cheese. Is this true?
As i've been looking in Tesco for this cheese pack thing that my nan used to buy me when i was younger. It has a variety of cheeses and i want it.

Well cheese is bad for you anyway if you eat to much but as long as your not munching through a whole a block in one go a bit wont hurt you just avoid the soft stuff and the blue cheeses. Everything in moderation is the key i think apart from triffle i cant live without my daily triffle fix at the moment lol ;-) x

You aint having it easy are you elasti you may be best sticking to the internet and getting your maternity gear sent to you i know its nicer to go shopping ad try everything on but needs must :-) x

Was supposed to go to Asda, but went to town instead. Tried Peacocks and Primark for PJs but didn't like anything. Although Prmiark do have some nice velour type leisurewear i may invest in, for when i am slobbing about at home. Will try Matalan and Asda tomorrow. Remembered and bought all the cards i needed, plus charm for nieces charm braclet. Have written the cards for the birthdays before baby is due and have left the others to add his/der name too. Was far too tired after waddling round town to go food shopping in Asda, will now have to go tomorrow. Can't believe how exhausted i get from doing the simplest things. DS and OH out again at local cricket. So am now slobbing on the couch and have eaten 2 choc dips.

Well psycho neighbor is at it again. think we may be in for a night of it. They are already half cut and they started a fight with yet another neighbor. Worried now that i got excited about them moving for nothing. One of the letters this morning was telling us we were all having a surveyor round next week, think perhaps this is why they had a clear out.

Just had toast and scrambled egg and i'm holding it down well for a change. Here's hoping it stays down lol

Stupid neighbor just left out the front and started shouting abuse again honestly some people need educated on manners. with any luck he'll spend the night in a hedge drunk lol
