thanks xmas - we are! 4-0 hahahahahahahahahahahahaha
keep forgetting the measurements of the moses basket and keep having to check! It's 36cm wide (not sure if it's just wide or baby has been stretched where it's had stuff in it). Have found one these wide on eBay - it's just the length I need to double check.
Oh yeah and back to my extravagent boss - can you believe she spent £10 of the money collected on gift bags? not very MSE at all!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -

They are all so cute. honestly how am i ever going to decide on a pram etc if i cant decide a nappie.

Many hugs to all who need them or just would like one
I'm so glad to be home! Yesterday was meant to be a good, uneventful day off work but didn't turn out that way at all  Started off in the morning with a very little bit of bleeding - managed to get hold of a midwife (3 hours later!) who told me to phone the hospital - the hospital told me to come in. So picked up hubby from work and headed in for a bit of monitoring, with a view of getting home at teatime. This, unfortunately, failed to happen as after spending some time on a trace it appeared I was having irritable contractions which I wasn't even feeling! Because of this, and the fact I'd been having a bit of cramp in stomach and back for a couple of days, they decided they wanted to keep me in overnight - and I had nothing with meIf a second trace in the morning picked up contractions, it would be steroid time for baby.
So got back home this morning: trace today picked up no contractions, and they have no idea what was causing them. It seems I've picked up a uti so now on antibiotics, and worried that any soreness I'm now getting is contractions starting up again, so keep having to remind myself that I'm sure a uti will make you feel sore (never had one before). Been told to take it easy for a couple of days, so went to a couple of shops on way home to pick up the last stuff for my case, and then had a nap in the afternoon while hubby has been taking care of me
I'm still planning on going into work on monday as it's my last week, and they didn't say anythign about not going in (though I admit I never thought to ask!) Will be spending all day sitting at a desk though, so I think I will be okay? I shouldn't have thought an infection should stop me from going to work?I think I'll be okay - will be taking it very easy.

three2b - this was my post on nappies a few threads back - I found the nappy lady too expensive but loads of other mums / mums to be love the nappy lady so i would check out the website as a start.
For those that are on a really tight budget - like me:o but want to use the new innovations with the old terries and dont want to use the mothercare budget set which includes plastic pants - on a small baby i have found these. Old terries with new style wraps and nappy fastenings. I originally wanted tots bots and then terries with motherease wrikki (sp.) wraps but couldnt afford them - even 2nd hand. I dont know about how leak proof these are but we dont mind so much about that as bean will be in disposables for the first couple of weeks.

Hope you are feeling better squishy. sending out all the good vibes i can. take it easy and enjoy having OH at your disposal.:T:T get him to rub your feet back tummy everywhere after all you need to relax.
Jha that list is close to my original, but because of the OH it has increased in size. I am still considering just telling the OH he is a money wasting snob that will need to get used to using them. (Will wait till after the birth so i can blame the hormones hehehe) and for the first week i was thinking disposables too, then muslin onto the terries. besides i have months to pick up bargains on the wraps lol[STRIKE]Little bump 3 on it's way[/STRIKE]:j

Squishy - glad you are home and safe and hope that the contractions don't start up again. I am definitely going to go tomorrow and get the rest of the stuff I need for my hospital bag. I suppose I just assume I will go overdue as everyone says "you nearly always go overdue with your first", but you never know!
Helen - great pics, and yes, they do look very alike.
Glam - 6-1, not bad revenge. Shame your OH didn't have a bet on it! Although I have the Arsenal keeper so not happy about leaking the last minute goal. 6-0 would have been better!0
