Glam my only problem with them is the straps, i understand the thinking behind them. All i can think of is being in the throws of labor and the flippin nightdress falling of my shoulder every 2 min.:mad::mad: perhaps it's just me thats not built for them?
Other than that i'd buy them lol
it was just the MW suggested sleeveless or straps cos it gets so hot.
Just found a ton of cheap joggers and tops on ASDA website - got 8 items for £24 which is good. Going to get some more so I can get free delivery of I collect in store!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

I like those nighties Glam but I find my boobs fall out if I sleep in anything strappy like that! I'm looking for something with slightly thicker straps, although no joy so far.
I was thinking for during labour - the black one probably!
Is it sad that I appear to be going for a colour theme for labour? Black and shocking pink?A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Thanks for all the replies and good wishes - you're all making me feel better
I'm actually feeling okay - tired, but have been that anyway, and a little sore which I'm going to be I think until the antibiotics kick in. I just don't think its a good enough reson to call in ill when all I'll be doing is sitting at a desk and letting the person who is taking over from me do the work
I'd say I'll be okay, just concerned as hadn't been feeling contractions (though they did say they weren't 'real' contractions as such). Might give them a call tomorrow and see what they think. Does make me think this little girl might make an earlier appearance though...
I like the nighties glam: they look like they would be nice and cool. I'd probably be hiking up the straps half the time though. The ones I got from peacocks are so not the coolest looking ones ever, but I guess they'd do!
P.S. - bag is now packed and sitting in the boot of the car0 -

Glam they are really nice - and they do large sizes too (i will need the largest i think - lol). I am going to order some to use for now and if they still fit i think they are great for labour / hosp - thanks:D
these are quite nice too if you want t - shirt style http://direct.asda.com/george/women-s-clothing/nightwear/nightdresses/2-pack-nightdress/G002890495,default,pd.html0 -
Glam - I like those nighties. They seem really good for the price. They would be no good for me though - won't be anywhere without a bra! They aren't maternity nighties though are they, so would they go over your bump ok? I am thinking of something looser for labour so there is a bit of room or manouvering.
I bought a 2 pack of nightdresses from Mothercare a while ago which have studs at the front for breastfeeding. They don't look very sexy, but are ideal. However, I don't want to use them for labour due to the price and because they will do me after for feeding, so I need to find something similar but cheaper. Definitely can't do strappy straps.0 -

Lol Glam :rotfl: I'm sure they'd still be okay if they were stretchy or floaty though. Only reason I got mine was because they are button through at top which shoudl help for breastfeeding. One of them is white with green stars on it though, and am maybe thinking again about white.....0 -
I might go for one of these, although it's not very MSE!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0
