purple-fairy, i have no idea how i'd feel about that. Depends why your OH was circumcised, was it religious or medical, or family tradition lol.
I think i'd want to leave things as they are unless it's necessary. Your son and partner aren't exactly gonna be comparing willies when he's older :D Does OH feel really strongly about it?

I know it's really hard when all this is going on inside you and you can't tell anyone! It's not for long though and hopefully everything will settle down soon. x

Fidget - thanks for the lovely message. I even felt better just for being able to type it out, coz it hasn't really sunk in yet!

    Thanks all for the welcome!

    Morning (/Afternoon!)

    Its raining outside, boo! :(

Anyway, im 11 weeks today. 7 more days until the great 12 weeks, and 8 days until my scan!

    Eeeeh im all excited!

Well i thought the sickness had stopped, but i think it might of been the baby being nice to me while i was ill. Last night i threw up my dominos :(
    Waste of money lol.

Welcome to all the newbies! (feels weird saying that, im technically still a newbie lol)

My poor friend, she's trying to have a baby and her period is over 2 weeks late (its always regular) and she keeps having negative tests. I told her to go to the docs about it :(
  • Can I ask a dumb question? ok I will anyway :D Shower curtains for homebirth - to cover the floor (am I right?) Is a cheapy ok or does anyone have a recommendation? that sounds so daft... I just noticed that they are made from different material. I have an old (waterproof) table protector but it is quite small...

i got some shower curtains that were redued in asda (didnt get to use them as as tranfered in so will keep them for this time...) I was told to get a few so they covered the floor/bed so you could move around a bit without worrying, but didnt say what type or anything so i guess any would be fine.....

32b hope the cramping is a bit beter today.

I am feeling a bit poorly today!! sckness has kicked iat least the hormones are doing whatthey should..... still cant deside if i should have a early scan or not? so worried because of the miscarriges i have had and with dd3 it really calmed me down... but think i should save the £50..... think i will try and wait though.... if the sickness carries on then i will feel a bit better about waiting....

hope everyone is ok today x

EA I'd be the same, advising her to go the the Dr.

I am getting a headache trying to look for beds!! I want a nice looking king size bed with a decent-ish mattress for under £800, and I'd like to be able to have 12 months interest free (after spending every last penny we have on the wedding!) and I'm not having much luck so far.

wow - been quiet on here without me whittering away :rotfl:

Mum has gone now - I like having people over but it's always nice when they leave! Just on my 2nd mug of RLT and had scrambled egg on toast to get my energy levels up for this afternoon.

I have finally decided to re-jig the furniture in our bedroom, I re-decorated it in Nov and moved all the furniture OH came home and hated the furinture move and said it's a waste of space. Now, I've gone to figure out where Moses Basket can go, I can see his point :o

Need to ring docs in 20 mins to get appt for this afternoon - read up that you can take preventative meds from 35 weeks so plan to get these and take them for the next 3 weeks. There is no way on earth I am risking an outbreak of GH again especially with delivery so near now.

I feel really mean because I've just kinda skimmed the posts from the last few days and don't want anyone to think I've not replied to them!

Jillie - I noticed you had been on and saw ur post - glad u r home now. Take it easy and thanks for keeping us up to date.

  • Hi Beeniecat, it was done coz of family tradition when he was a baby. He does seem to feel quite strongly about it although to be honest we have yet to have the proper indepth conversation about it. Have been doing some reading up today and you can't get it done on NHS for nonmedical reasons so I'm hoping that having to pay to do it privately may put him off;)

I have an IKEA bed not quite a king but bigger than a double
It's got an IKEA foam mattress and it's the most comfy bed in the world!!!

Can't link to it because they don't sell them anymore!

  • Afternoon ladies - still keeping an eye on thread, looking for babies :D

Just thoughts I would let you know about cheap maternity jeans - £5- as posted on hotukdeals (apologies if this has already been posted, I did a quick search but nothing came up)

I had the Lidl body pillow - I was quite sad to give it up but I couldn't justify keep using it and it being between me and hubby, although it was useful for the first few nights to put between my legs and help my stiches!!!

ETA: I have an Ikea bed and mattress too and I love it!
