Thankfully here, whoever was up before me left the heating on low so I didn't freeze while eating my breakfast.

Lets hope I don't freeze! I hate being cold, I would wear more layers, but will be getting blood pressure checked and I'm too lazy to peel them all off :rotfl:0 -

pirate fairy, me too. Got in late last night, and my eye were so swollen driving DH to station this morning.
Its so cold.....brrr. I didn't realise when I got dressed this morning an am very inadaquately dressed. this week is probably going to be spent mainly in jeans, which I find depressing and unimaginative.0 -
lostinrates, I'm almost always in jeans. It's all about the tops and acccessories

In work today and today's outfit is:
- Purple three quarter sleeve V neck cardigan (Next)
- White scoop neck T shirt (Dorothy Perkins)
- Purple and white striped skirt (Topshop)
- Black tights (M&S) - it was nippy outside!
- Brown boots (Rocket Dog via a boutique in Lancaster)
- Electric blue trench coat (New Look) to come into work
- Brown leather handbag (21st birthday present)
- Usual jewellery - silver initial necklace (Tiffany, Christmas present), silver watch (Storm, 21st birthday present), silver bracelet with pearl and black beads (graduation present), silver and diamond ring (Hot Diamonds, 18th birthday present), silver and amber earrings (20th birthday present)
Perfume is Gwen Stefani L - nearly gone now! - and nail varnish is a Revlon deep purple one (can't remember the exact name).
In work until half five, then home to do my workout and job stuff.
Have a good Monday everyone!"A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge." - Tyrion LannisterMarried my best friend 1st November 2014Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")0 -
glowgirl- my hair is doing medusa impressions today too!
Argh
it was colder than I anticipated when I left the house, I wish I'd packed on more layers!0 -
You know, I think its getting colder as the day goes on.
I'm on my second layering adition now!0 -
Hi, hope you are all well despite the miserable "Summer is totally over" weather.
Today I have (gasp) taken off the jeggings! I'm wearing:
Purple leggings (Sainsburys £3.75 as had 25% off in the weekend)
Grey slouchy boots
My husbands Grey Billabong T-shirt (has tribally design down one side in black and white but is honestly quite tasteful) Was a present from my parents, so it's technically mine anyway!
Multi grey black white wool long cardi.
Charm bracelet, small silver stud earrings and long clock necklace with tiny black stones, Wedding rings
Wondering about raiding DH wardrobe to see what else I can borrow, he's 6"9 and skinny so his T-shirts are nice and long but not too wide so look tunic like on me. I might take the necks and sleeves off some of his old ones so they look better.0 -
Afternoon all!
It's a chilly one isn't it? Can't believe it's another monday, still it makes my next India trip a little closer. :j
Been to yoga this morning after a frantic scramble wrapping 20+ eBay parcels to drop off at the Post Office on the way - I really should wrap on a sunday evening but that would be far too organised.
Today's outfit:
Teal Punjabi pants (Local market £2)
TopShop grey mahl vest (about 9 years old)
Vintage 1980's pirate boots - brown cotton sock with leather base and straps that cross over the legs (25p car boot sale at least 2 years ago)
Indian tribal bangles and rings
Hand of Fatima pendant on a leather thong (Moroccan souk about 15years ago)
Polished turquoise stud earrings (Xmas pressie)
Black angora TopShop boyfriend cardi (50p car boot sale)
Hessian tote with picture of Indian dancing girl (India)
I have Glowgirl's Medusa hair syndrome, too so it's looped up in an enormous bun!
Off for my annual hospital check-up today, so I should really get changed into a crimplene frock, sensible lace-up shoes and American Tan tights to fit in with the other hip replacement patients - if my consultant has a medical student with him they are speechless when I walk in. :rotfl:
Have a lovely day, gang and keep warm!
